Once Ning was done chatting with the two heroes, he sent Void back to his quarters with a snap of his finger.
Tarian looked at Ning with no small measure of awe when he saw him do that. "Is that your real power? Teleporting?"
"You could say that," Ning said.
Tarian nodded. "It wasn't you that made me teleport back then, was it?"
Ning shook his head. "That's entirely your power, isn't it?"
Tarian fell silent for a moment and nodded. He rubbed his forehead, still slightly taken aback.
"No one is supposed to really know what my power is. Not even my family or my closest confidant know exactly what it is. They just have the barest idea," he said.
"Well, Perfect Defense is a very strong power, so I'm not surprised," Ning answered. "I suppose you can't do much with it, but it will always make sure that you are never hurt."
Tarian slowly nodded.
