The two men screamed because Ning was doing something to them without even touching them.
Their bodies began twisting slowly from the waist, their torsos turning in directions their bones and muscles were never meant to follow. They tried to resist, grabbing at their own bodies and forcing themselves back, but whatever Ning was doing ignored their strength completely.
The others stared in horror but were unable to do anything more than watch the two men slowly twist to death. Some wanted to scream. Some wanted to beg Ning to let them go.
And yet, no words came at all.
All they could do was watch them die.
The two men continued twisting.
Their shoulders turned farther while their hips remained fixed, stretching muscle and skin until the pressure became unbearable. One of them tried to activate his ability, but Ning did not even bother looking at whatever power he attempted to use.
Ning glanced across the rest of them.
