In the space between dimensions,
Dante Moore (aka Astra Codex) runs aimlessly trying to get away from Gwen and her new boyfriend since they came back to Earth. Then, he noticed an unconscious girl floating. Catching her, Dante ran her out of that space. Out of a portal, Dante slides and stops. "Okay, where are we?" he thought.
Suddenly, the girl coughs. "What happened?"
"Oh! You're still alive. Good," Dante said, surprised.
"Who are yo— The girl suddenly faints.
In Dante's Dimension, The Temple,
Gwen walks into the library, hoping to find Dante. "Temple, where's Dante?" she asked.
"Dante is currently out of the dimension." Temple answered.
Gwen groaned. "Oh great. And when I needed his help the most." Gwen said.
Suddenly, Kira walks into the library, looking at a picture on her phone. Casting an invisibility spell, Gwen quietly walks out of the library. "Seriously, how could she be like that to the guy she claimed to love? Don't you see how much you're hurting him." Kira thought, pretending not to notice Gwen. Suddenly, her phone rings. "Mom? Why would she be calling me?" Kira wondered, answering her phone.
Meanwhile, In Avery's Dimension, Savari, The Royal Palace,
"WHAT!!!" Amalia, Talia, and Dani yelled.
"Wow… Is my love life really such a surprise?" Avery asked.
"Well, yeah. You just dropped a bomb like that on us. You and Dante?" Amalia said.
"Yeah, why are you all so shocked about us? You all thought we would make good couple." Avery said as she took a sip from her cup.
"Well, yeah. But, didn't him and Gwen just break up?" Talia said.
"Yes, but technically, we all started dating hundreds of years ago in another universe."
"Right… you, Megra, and him were gone for a while."
"Correction, we're all still gone. Somewhere in a nice village as their protectors."
"So, we're talking to your clone." Dani said.
"No, you're talking to me. Every copy of myself is me. I think Reo called it 'Perfected' Omnipresence."
"So, you're basically a God." Talia said, jokingly.
"What? No, I'm me. The same Avery that you all knew in Novask. Just a lot stronger."
"Okay, braggy."
"Braggy?" Avery thought, as the others laughed. "Alright, what's going on with Novask?" Avery asked.
Back in the other Dimension, In an Inn,
The girl woke up and quickly rose up from the bed. "What just… Where am I?" she thought, breathing heavily and faster by the second. "I gotta get out of here." She said as she got up off the bed. However, mistakenly, she zoomed out of the room, down the stairs, and out of the Inn.
"Uh Oh," Dante thought as he saw the girl speeding out the Inn while he was walking back to the Inn.
"Dante!" Gwen yelled in his ear.
"Oh great, now I'm hearing that annoying voice now." He thought before taking off.
"Rude… I need you to come back to help dea...
"Yeah, I'm going to cut you off there. I'm busy right now. Get Mr. Perfect to help. I'm sure he's bored." Dante said.
"You know why I can't do that?!"
"Oh, you want a buffer between you and your parents. Then, HELL NO!"
"Dante," Gwen whined. "It's not just my parents. It's both of our parents. My dad invited your family to the party."
"Right, I forgot your mother said she want see Emi. Tell her we won't be able to make." Dante said as he sped up. "Where did she go?" he thought as his eyes glowed.
"Dante! PLEASE?!"
"NO!!! Goodbye!!!" Dante yelled, hanging up. He then took out his communicator and placed it in his dimensional band. "Now I can focus." He thought as he continued to run.
Back at the Temple, the Main Computer Room,
"What am I going to do now?" she thought, looking down at the floor.
"You know… you only have yourself to blame for that response." Kira said, walking into the room quietly.
"What are you doing here?" Gwen said, rubbing her eyes.
"Regretting my choice to helping you." Kira responded, transforming into Dante.
"What?"
Back in the Other Dimension,
Dante arrives at a cliff, where the girl stood at. "Well, I really hope you don't jump. I would, at least, like to know your name." he said.
"Cindy Li, Daughter of Duke Joseph Li. I'm assuming you're the guy who saved me from that place."
"Yes, that was me."
Cindy closes her eyes, rubbing her head. "Well, I have a one question for you. What did you do to me?" she asked, appearing in front of Dante instantly.
"Oh… well. I don't really know. But we can find out. Care to come with me." Dante said holding out his hand, hoping she would grab it.
Cindy sighed. "Fine,'" she said grabbing his hand.
Dante then pulled her close and picked her up. "Hold on," Dante said, before zooming off into a dimensional portal.
Zooming out of a dimensional portal, Dante sees smoke and flames. "What is that? A fire?" he thought.
"Don't worry about it. It's just a small gas fire. You can just leave it to the fire department. Just enjoy your party." Tower said, in his communicator.
"Party?" Dante thought, continuing out of the city.
Somewhere in the Grand Canyon, A Maiju Outpost,
Entering a cave, Dante lets Cindy down.
"Where are we?" she asks.
"This is one of my hideouts. I rebuilt this place to withstand my powers. Here— we can go all out without worrying and find out what you ca…
"Recognize— Cindy Li, AKA SlipStream," Temple said.
"Well, that answers one question. You're a hero." Dante said.
"Alright? Where did that voice come from?" Cindy said, confused.
"That's right. You wouldn't know about technology. That was a computer program called Temple. They run our entire infrastructure, and through them we can keep an eye on dangers."
"Oh, then how do they know my name? And what do they mean by SlipStream?"
"Truthfully, I have no idea. But I might know why your codename was SlipStream. Come with me." Dante said as he walked away.
Reluctant to follow, Cindy slowly made her way behind him.
In the Training Room,
Dante is preparing the track for Cindy and him, setting it to its lowest setting and removing all the obstacles that might spring up.
"What is this you have me wearing? It's so revealing and tight." Cindy says walking into the room, wearing spandex.
"That outfit will help us keep track of your power output and body's telemetry. And, don't worry about it being too revealing. There's no one here besides us." Dante said as he typed on the computer.
Cindy sighs. "Fine, what should I do?"
"Just one moment." Dante said before rushing out of the room. Rushing back into the room, he was dressed the same way as Cindy. "Alright… you're right. This is tight."
Cindy slightly smirked, trying to hold back her laughter.
"So, you can laugh. Good… for a second, I thought you were… never mind. Anyways, let's get started. We're going to take it slow. Just keep following me."
"What exactly are we doing?" Cindy asked.
"Just going for a run." Dante said, holding out his hand.
Grabbing his hand, Cindy felt a strange energy radiates throughout her body. "What is this feeling? It's like every ounce of my being is being charged with something completely different from the usual magic."
"Good, it seems you acclimated to your powers easier than I thought. Well, you did go miles from the inn when you were out of it." Dante said, smiling. "Maybe that's why you were able survive in the space between the dimensions." He thought, looking at Cindy's amazed expression.
"So, what now?"
"We run," Dante said before zooming into a tunnel.
Cindy smiled and followed him into the tunnel.
Five hours later,
Dante and Cindy zoom out of the tunnel, laughing and smiling.
"Well, would you look at this? Wifey number five." Avery said, standing in the door.
"What?" Dante and Cindy said, shocked.
"Easy, I was just joking. Unless you two are starting to like each other." Avery said, walked towards them.
"Not funny, Avery." Dante said.
"Come on. It's a little funny. Hi, I'm Avery." Avery said.
"Cindy Li, daughter of Duke Joseph Li. What did you mean by 'Wi— fey'?" Cindy said, shaking Avrey's hand.
"Uh— it's just a joke we have about Dante. Something that happens in the future. Don't take it too seriously."
"What are you doing here, Avery?" Dante asked, knowing something was wrong.
"Well, Dante. I came to give you a warning. Talia, Dani, and Amalia are headed this to question you abo— about the marriage."
"Avery? I thought…
"Hey, you should know by now. Those three can get information out me really easily. Not to mention— that our children already told them during that Robot War situation. So, you really can't blame me."
"Ro—bot War?" Cindy thought.
Dante rubs his forehead, knowing he's about to deal with some intense questioning. "Where are they?" he asked.
