The Seraphim had destroyed the Sentinel. But in turn was scarred by molten metel seeping from its corpse onto the Seraphim's body. And so it screached. Tobias who's emotion had been suppressed by the chip began relentlessly bombarding the Seraphim with everything he had. Missile, lasers, rail guns. Magic enhanced with runes
While Bellor contacted the handler.
Bellor :
Handler, can you hear me, Codena has fallen , I repeat Codena has fallen. We need reinforcement ASAP.
Handler :
Affirmative, the closest reinforcement will take time. Please hold on the situation.
This news had come after Jay had left the scene. Thus the Handler was thinking of who to send. According to the position the most closest and strongest is Jay.
As Codena has fallen the chain of command had fallen on Tobias. And it was up to him now to stop the Seraphim.
Research on Seraphim isn't widely available. Because of their build they have either shown resistance or complete immunity to poisons. As well as of a poison was there is would be purified by breaking down the molecules itself. Before it could do any damage.
The only result they have are from the fallen. But since the fallen are more human than monsters it is not viable. Research on the Seraphim is less. But viable.
The Seraphim had recovered almost all of his injuries and was ready to leave.
Tobias :
Bellor, mana quick.
Bellor once again opened the mana box once again. And Tobias rushed to the ground as he connected his feet with the land. And shot injected his mana inside it. Finally using mana he gathered the earth beneath him and cleared it causing it to create a deep hole just the size of the Seraphim to slide through and even though using its wings as leverage it prevented itself from falling further. Tobias further poured cement on the Seraphim causing it to stick to the Seraphim making it heavier. And lo went the Seraphim. As the cement started to fill up. The Seraphim tried to claw its way back to the surface. But the more it tore from its claws the more it dug through the soil and made it collapse on him. Effectively burying him in a pool of cement and ground. Which was bei g held tight by Tobias using earth magic. Applying more and more pressure onto the Seraphim. To the point of suffocation.
The Seraphim shook and shook widely to the point of vibrating. The land around them shook as well. Cracks started to form in the structure.
Tobias was now barely able to keep the pressure on him. He clasped both of his hands and swung it to the ground thus increasing the pressure even more. Finally the shaking stopped.
Tobias who was standing over the filled pit was in a state of schrodinger cat. Whether the Seraphim was alive or not.
Tobias :
Bellor, what's the status.
Bellor :
Reinforcement have been sent.
Tobias was not yet fully convinced that the Serahim was dead. Thus he held onto the pit for much longer. Due to him human personality it gave him a sense of contemplation that something was off. An enemy such as Seraphim can't just die in a pit. The silence grew over Tobias as he still held his ground.
Bellor was streaming this feed to the handler to understand the situation well.
Suddenly small spouts of flames erupted from the ground then small light and finally a huge blast of energy decimated the entire pit and the Seraphim was able to escape finally as Tobias jumped backward. The Seraphim flew towards the sky fully regenerated. It stretched its wings as far as it could casting a huge shadow over the trees in the vicinity.
Tobias :
Bellor where are the reinforcement. We can't hold him for much longer.
Bellor :
They are coming we must do whatever to stop him.
Tobias
The Seraphim flew towards the capital completely ignoring the sentinels.
Tobiad and Bellor chased the Seraphim but it was too fast. And due to the air draft their speed was slowed even further.
Bellor :
At this rate we won't be able to catch that thing!
Tobias :
We cannot allow that to happen we have to avenge
Codena for the sake of the sentinels.
Bellor supplied Tobias with mana so he even further pushed his thrusters and boosted himself until he caught thr Seraphim's wings and slowly began to crawl towards its chest. And when it was on its chest just below it's torn mouth.
Tobias made a small incision on its chest and stuck a high grade military explosive containing Pentanitrotoluene.
More explosive than tnt. And much more easier to make due to the advance science. Tobias let go of the Seraphim and activated the explosive and the Seraphim exploded into as it burned inside out and crashed into a nearby network grid cutting off internet and communication access to the region.
The Seraphim was burning as it's newly regenerated wings had once again caught on fire. And once they had burned down it was nothing but a being with useless wings and a torso. The Seraphim realized that it cannot leave without a fight. Thus is grew a pair of hands made of diamonds. And and it's wings thickened and grew even more until it had become even a more hideous creature than before.
It planted those wings in the ground and pulled himself forward like a Tarantula.
Tobias :
Why won't you die. Flame Blast.
Tobias held his right hand forwards and with his left hand supported his hand by holding his own hand. And blasting a very strong. Tobias using his current arsenal was analyzing the Seraphim. But according to its analysis the extreme
regeneration of the Seraphim would require even more firepower. And both Bellor and Tobias had expended most of their resources.
The Seraphim held its hands of diamond in the air and a ball of bright light in the air and from it came a beam of light. Die to Tobias's analysis he was slightly able to dodge it by rolling in the north east direction. And then firing the fire blast. This burned the Seraphim even more and more. But it used it's diamond hands to block his flames. As it advanced forward. Until it reached before Tobias itself. It raised both of its arms in the air and swords of light manifested into its hands. As it swung down the sword on a narrowly escaping Tobias and the sword itself cut the soil. Until thr blades disappeared.
It's diamond like hands had melted due to the intense heat of light. And the surface was now extremely uneven.
The Seraphim became even more aggressive as it swung the swords of light slowly chipping away its own hands. But since they were made of diamond the Seraphim couldn't feel the sensation until the moment it's fingers melted away. And that when it noticed. So instead it crafted swords of light in the air and sent them flying towards Tobias.
It was over Tobias had no space to slither away now. Even if he were to use any magic it would be melted by the swords of light and the speed of those swords would be even harder to react to. Tobias in a final effort put everything bit of mana into his thruster and fired away towards the Seraphim. And luckily his predictions came into fruition and he was able to barely avoid the swords as he bashed into the Seraphim's deranged diamond arms. Generating enough force to take the Seraphim with him as he flew into many trees someof which were sharp stabbed Seraphim in the back. As they broke through until. He was sobbed and the Seraphim once again finding himself deeply hurt.
But even in that moment when Tobias was close it created another sword of light above Tobias. And as Tobias was facinf the Seraphim he wasn't able to detect the sword of light. Tobias looked at the Seraphim and even though it was smiling. As the hair locks dangled out of its smiling lips.
The sword of light fell on Tobias who was just recovering from the attack but then the instead went through the Seraphim Bruning it's insides. And Tobias nowhere near the scene. He found himself on a lush green forest beneath huge trees staring at the sun.

Tobias looked to the side to see a man wearing glasses and pulling off a good look in joggers. He had no specialized equipment related to war on him.
Tobias :
Who are you and where is thr Seraphim. I must need to get back to it before it does any damage.
Tobias's sensors had gone out of control as he lost touch of what had happened this slurring his impeccable speech slightly. He tried to regain his understanding by asking.

That thing right. It's dead now.
Tobias slightly raised his head and found the Seraphim in exactly two equal pieces with blood pouring out of its body. It's mouth was like it was screaming in pain. And it's regeneration had finally stopped functioning.
