Before we begin the second day, let's take a look into Jay's comrade, Lilia. A mage who had reached the title of Grand Mage. She was born into a commoner's household, and her father was a farmer while her mother was a magic teacher. Thus, it was very early in her life that she was introduced to magic. She was a talent said to be comparable to the Witch of the Forest or the Sage. She had shown proficiency in all of the magical streams—fire, water, earth, wind, and lightning—all were at her command. When she used magic, she was entranced by the delicate systems of magic. Thus she decided to become a wizard.
Because of her mother's request, she was accepted into the Tower of Wizards, and there she learned of Maria von Lopez. From that moment, she had become her sole motive to move forward. Even fate had grand plans for her, as she met Jay and McElroy, who had comprehensive notes of Lopez with them. Jay didn't use the notes as the source of his powers was the System, and McElroy didn't seem interested in the notes. Thus, they were passed down to Lilia. She thoroughly studied the notes as if they were holy books. She was even caught reversing and bowing down to those sets of pages in private. In time, her skills improved drastically, and she had gotten so strong that even the Tower Master couldn't compare to her. She was given the title of Lilia the Grand Mage.
But one day, a fellow wizard who was extremely jealous of her took the notes and burned them to the ground. She attacked the mage in all of her rage, killing him instantly. She extinguished the fire, but it was too late—the notes had been reduced to cinders. Thoroughly disheartened and in a frenzied rage, she burned down the entire Wizard Tower. Thus now she had nothing left to her name. She knew that Jay and McElroy had copies, but she couldn't find them anywhere, as they had already left for the capital for their pilgrimage, carrying Sein's body in the inventory.
She began teaching magic to children, continuing her mother's profession, as she believed that one day she would meet them once again. She was eventually recruited by the soldiers in the Heavenly War. She served them and frantically tried to find them on their side, but to no avail. That's when fate shone its light on her again—finally reuniting with Jay and going with him to be closer once again to her sole goal.
But when she was presented with a mana oath, she was skeptical of it, as she didn't want to be dragged into war without even knowing anything. She did have some faith, as Jay had brought her here, but still. The King noticed her and thus assigned a mage to show her around.

It was midnight, and the mage escorting her was also feeling sleepy. But still, he showed her various places across the site—the teleport pads, the magical arrays, the communications tower, the mage armory where weapons which solely utilized mana were stored. Her pupils dilated as she tried to perceive everything. Even the mage escorting her smiled every time she was excited looking at something new to her. Finally, the mage introduced her to some of her teammates who were on duty with her.
Felvc:
So they are my teammates—Krom, Salwec, and Polika.
Lilia:
Nice to meet all of you. I'm Lilia, a very big fan of Madam Maria.
Polika:
Oh great, another Lopez fanatic. Felvc, you ruined my beauty sleep just for this.
Felvc:
The Head has ordered me to show her around.
Salwec:
Don't mind her. We just couldn't sleep because of the sirens going off from intruders. I'm happy to meet another outsider.
Felvc:
She is a special one. She was originally from the Heavenly Army and has defected here.
Krom:
Please leave, outsider. We don't need a defector here. We are enough by ourselves.
The female mages were now polarized by opinion as they learned that she was from the other side.
Felvc:
She braved herself to leave the Gods and join us, and this is how you treat her, Krom? I'm ashamed of both of you—Krom and Polika.
Lilia:
Please, Felvc, it is not their fault. I'm just new here, and given my background, it will take them time to adjust.
Lilia said this with utmost grace and respect, such that one of them changed their mind.
Polika:
Oh, fanatic, talk to me in the morning. I'll introduce you to everyone else.
Lilia thanked her, and they both departed back to where they started. As they reached there, they saw Jay coming out of the tent, and he noticed them.
Jay:
Hey, Lilia. So how's the Foundation?
Lilia was very skeptical at first, but now she had entirely changed her perspective.
Lilia:
Jay, I will be ever grateful to you. You landed in my life as an angel—scratch that, you landed as a saviour and took me where I dreamed of.
Lilia continued to praise Jay as she quickly spouted words like a water fountain, too much for Jay to bear. She went inside the tent, and within a few minutes, she was out, showing off her mana oath. At that moment, Jay saw the largest smile on anyone's face in a very long time.
Felvc:
Miss Lilia, please follow me. I shall show you to your mage unit.
Lilia:
Yes, please.
She waved goodbye to Jay, and he waved back. She ended her tour with the mage showing her resting quarters, and finally, Lilia's tour was over.
