If someone had asked me years from now what chaos smelled like, I would say:
expensive cologne, new leather, and Vince's ego.
Because the moment the boys merged with us inside the designer menswear section, the atmosphere changed. Not in a bad way — just… louder. More dramatic. Like someone shifted the background music to an action-comedy entrance track.
"Okay, gentlemen," Lara announced with a clap. "We're helping you shop. No arguments."
Vince grinned, leaning toward me. "I only take fashion advice from beautiful women."
I took a step back.
Steven stepped forward.
A coincidence?
…maybe.
Probably.
Jasmine laughed lightly, linking her arm with Anthony's. "I already chose for him though."
Anthony didn't disagree.
He didn't even look at me.
My heart flickered, just for a moment.
Fine. Whatever. Focus on clothes.
Kate ushered us deeper into the boutique. "Alright. Let's split. Each girl takes responsibility for one guy."
