(Michelle Lui's POV)
I woke up to the soft glow of fall sunlight slipping between the suite curtains — warm, golden, and peaceful enough that for a moment, I forgot where I was.
Then Vince's voice echoed from the boys' suite across the hall:
"…I'M BRINGIN' SEXYYY BAAAACK—"
Ah yes.
Halloween.
Country A.
Andy's penthouse building.
And our entire dysfunctional-but-lovable group together in one place.
It wasn't my first Halloween in life — obviously — but this was my first one celebrating abroad with them.
My first Halloween as part of this strange, chaotic circle of rich kids.
And honestly?
It felt… exciting.
"Good morning," I said as I got up.
Kate was already immaculate on the sofa, coffee in one hand, tablet in the other.
Lara was wrapped in a blanket like a burrito on the foot of her bed.
Lara groaned. "Michelle… don't talk. I'm too weak."
"You're awake," Kate observed, finally glancing up. "That's shocking."
