Andy snapped his fingers dramatically, the spotlight shifted, and the magic mirror illusion behind him flickered to life.
Everyone leaned forward.
I held my breath.
Andy winked at the crowd.
"Ladies and gentlemen — behold your inner truth."
The mirror shimmered…
Sparkled…
And then—
Oh no.

Because the glowing romantic illusion that formed wasn't me and Anthony…

I genuinely stopped breathing.
Someone in the crowd screamed:
"Oh my god THEY LOOK LIKE A COUPLE!"
Another person actually FANNED THEMSELVES.
