(Michelle Lui's POV)
The girls' suite was chaos.
The good kind of chaos—fabric everywhere, hair ties on the counter, four different perfumes mixing in the air, and Kate shouting instructions like a drill sergeant.
"Okay! Everyone dress functional first! Real hikers. Practical. Sweat-proof!"
Lara snorted as she tied her shoelaces. "Kate, darling, we all know you're going to contour your face anyway."
"And?" Kate raised a brow. "Even Everest deserves cheekbones."
I laughed, adjusting my windbreaker. Practical. Black. Waterproof. My hairstyle was a simple ponytail.
We looked normal.
Actually normal.
Which, for us, was rare.
Jasmine straightened her leggings. "We look too plain. I feel like… background characters."
"That's the point," Kate whispered dramatically.
Then she opened The Secret Bag.
The one filled with:
stylish coats
• knit scarves
• fall-perfect beanies
• soft glam makeup
• accessories
• lip tints
• magic
