Everyone looked at the window not sure about what it was or what to think about it at all.
Except Ned that is, Ned knew exactly what it was. 'It's a system!' Ned was overjoyed when he looked at it. Ned was a fan of novels,Anime,Manga,Comics you name it. he knew that this was a system something often used in the isekai genre of what ever read.
He was over noted that his wide smile had started to creep the sorcerer holding the crystal ball infront of him. Since having a system in whatever this world was not just considered to be the norm but it was a fact that everyone had.
No matter what Nedricks skill was the sorcerer would have never expected Nedricks smile be this wide not to mention it had been about 7 very awkward seconds.
Over in the crowd of finely dressed people and
"Only level 5?" One male voice said. "The reading level is impressive but I expected to more." One female voice said. "Is this what the prince summoned us for." Another male voice said. "Librarian? Is this some sort of joke?"
More chatter amongst the crowd incude mostly negative comments. The king heard this and cleared his throat some gaurds took notice of this and began to escort the crowd out.
Once the crowd had left the king turned back to the class. "My apologies. Now that Sir Nedrick has displayed his status.... Actually no there's no need lets proceed with that at a later date. right now you all should become accommodated to the rooms where you'll be staying in-"
Ned turned to the king and tweeked his glasses and a smug smile appeared on his face said "Actually your highness if I may call you that you see the world were we are from we don't have this status window and we'd appreciate it I you could explain it to us."
This would surprise the king and he said "That is quite... intresting. well it's common knowledge that this thing we call a status as we call it displays your skills, Abilities, health, mana-" "Actually your highness there's no mana in our world either but we are familiar with the concept of magic. " Nedrick said once again with his smug smile. Once again the king was shocked to hear this but a kept his composure.
"Your world seems quite interesting. but to look at your status you just have to think about the word I'd like to know more about it another time but for now please allow head maid Melissa to direct you to where you all will be staying." King Melros said as he pointed behind them to a tall woman in a maid uniform wearing glasses. Melissa stepped forward and please allow me to direct you allow me direct you all to your quarters.
Everyone was reluctant seeing as noone had even heard the door that they walked in through and which was behind Melissa open nor close. Bed simply walked infront of them and said "It's fine trust me." The students were more trusting now but Zeke and Vice principal Asher were still reluctant but Zeke falling victim to peer pressure and Asher not wanting to look bad followed behinds aswell
Just before everyone had stepped out off the room she turned around and shouted questioning the king "Wait is there any way we can go back?!" The king sighed and closed his eyes before reopening them and calmly saying "I'm sorry but.... there's no way we know of to send any of you back. " Hearing this a large part of her had died a bit Kayla walked back to Tori and let her rest her head on her and in a comforting voice "Come let's go you. I'm sure they'll find some way to send us back."
"Hold I have a question too. There were more of us what happened to the rest?!' Zeke questioned the king in a distressed voice.
King melros seemed to be a bit more relieved when he heard this question. "Ah yes no need to worry. The holy sun empire in which we reside in wasn't the only empire to summon you all here. Your comrades are likely going through the same process as you are now so you need not worry about that. "
Zeke had clenched his fist and clicked his tongue but dicided to restrain himself. As for for Tori she was still in the same state of shock.
"Please we must get you all accustomed to your individual quarters. " and so the group walked out behind Melissa.
As the door closed king Melros sighed and said "Poor girl..." "Indeed." one of the hooded sorcerers said as they removed their hood from their over there head. Revealing a beautiful woman who looked to be in her early 30s.
"Ah yes Talia. May I ask where exactly Melros is?" Talia looked at the king a bit worried to answer "He's on his way here your majesty. "
"Good. He shall be punished at once. " This answers had Talia deeply upset.
the group consisted of Ned,Asher,Zeke and 3 others. 1 boy and 2 girls there were Mark,Kayla and Tori. Everyone had calmed down except Tori who was in a state of shock That isn't to say she was wrong. Tori had come to the realization that she'd might never see a lot of people who were in her life again.
Back on earth Tori lived a very cushy life. Her parents were well off financially and Excluding Zeke's she'd been in everyone in classes friend group at some point. She was also quite liked amongst the boys but never properly announced having any boyfriend. Suddenly being snatched from it all a huge toll would be taken on anyone.
While walking behind the head maid Zeke was busy in his mind thinking 'Why the hell was Ned so calm?' If Anything Ned was happy the same with Kayla. Vice principal Asher was clearly out of his elment Tori was completely broken,Kayla was comforting Tori , Mark seemed relaxed yes but he seemed to be more worried about Tori

Zeke looked at his status and saw that some of his stats were higher than his class or in this case classes were different. And he was quite fit and did do alot of physical activity so it did make sense. The only thing that didn't make sense was the stubborn and short tempered ( That last part was According to him).
Zeke snapped out of his delusions when Asher tapped his shoulder and said "Don't cause any trouble. " in a voice that clearly had hostility in it. But before Zeke could say as anything Vice principal Asher had speed up to get close to Ned. 'As if I needed you to tell me that!'
Asher walked up behind Ned and ask "I saw what you did. how are you so calm?" Ned responded with a light chuckle and said "I have my ways." Ned wasn't exactly satisfied with this answer but he preferred not to asks questions.
But the real reason Ned knew so much was that he'd seen It in one of his manga books but to keep the group's confidence in him he chose not to disclose that.
Once the group had arrived at a corridor that had multiple doors connected to it the had maid stopped and said these rooms will be for your use I hope they are to your liking. She then proceeded to bow and quickly walk off. and turned down the connected hallway.
Seemingly without a bit of hesitation Kayla lead Tori to the closest door to them. Mike followed closely behind and that's when Kayla turned to him and said "Uhh what are you doing? " Mike not sure what to say said "Well Tori seems kinda upset so I-" Kayla's caring aura disappeared and she said with poison in her voice "Yeah so just back off ok? ughh." and slammed the door in Mike's face. Mike was Visibly upset and said "Oh ok..."
Ofcourse Mike's sadness went unnoticed by everyone else and they just chose a room and proceed to mind there own business. Each room was quite luxurious which would be an unfamiliar site to all but Tori.
Asher was busy stressing out in his room. Ned was busy exploring his still in his state of bliss. Mike was just now noticing he was the only one who hadn't chosen a room and Kayla was busy comforting Tori .
Zeke was just laying down in his bed looking at his status and examined it. He knew where the hand to combat skill came from 'Looks like all those fights I got my ass beat in finally did me some good."
He was a bit confused about his cooking skill and why it was so high. He'd remembered cooking time to time but had mostly been just instant noodles but he did remember helping at an orphanage a couple times.
As for his taming smill one Name came to mind
'Lazlo!'. His pet cat Lazlo. Zeke was quite the cat lover but not your grandmother level cat lover he had one cat and that was enough for him. He'd been raising Lazlo ever since Lazlo was born.
The thought of never seeing Lazlo again had Zeke quite a bit upset but he pressed on and continued to read. That's where he sa his Read skill as well as the multiplication skill. He chopped this up to like most people from his world he could read and do math.
Now his final skill got him confused and he started wondering 'Why are one of my skills archery?'
