As Pedro began explaining how he had altered the original plan, Ryley couldn't help the smile slowly spreading across his face.
By the time the explanation ended, the blond looked genuinely pleased.
"I see..."
He nodded several times, clearly approving of what he had just heard.
His gaze then drifted away from the screen toward Mitchell, who had been listening from behind the sofa the entire time.
The servant looked equally impressed.
After a brief moment, Mitchell quietly raised a thumbs-up toward the iPad camera.
A silent gesture of approval directed straight at Pedro.
Ryley's smile widened immediately.
"Honestly, Mr. Pedro, I would have a hard time believing you grew up under Lucas' guidance."
Pedro raised an eyebrow on the screen.
"I mean no disrespect," Ryley added. "It's just that... I can't picture Lucas doing something like this."
The blond shook his head lightly, still looking impressed.
