Whatever was occupying Ryley's thoughts had clearly followed him into the studio.
Arman's gaze lingered for a moment longer.
Something flickered across his expression before disappearing just as quickly.
A subtle shift.
A faint change in his eyes.
As though he had noticed something unexpected while studying the blond.
But whatever it was, he concealed it almost immediately.
"Mr. Ryley?"
The call pulled Ryley out of his thoughts at once.
The blond blinked.
For a split second, he looked almost startled.
"Y-yes?"
Arman couldn't help chuckling.
Even without hearing a single word, he had a feeling the man had been thinking about something far removed from art, painting, or modeling.
He walked toward the display riser where Ryley had been posing for nearly an hour and stopped at its edge.
"Shall we take a break?"
As he spoke, he extended a hand toward him.
Ryley hesitated briefly as he looked at the hand being offered to him.
Then a small smile appeared on his face.
