Well that was it… I died and was then reborn into what I was told was some type of version of Marvel, from what I can tell while sitting in my new slightly crappy apartment and reading what I can on the internet using the laptop I found on the kitchen table alongside my other essential documents such as ID and bank account info., this was more than just the MCU version of marvel, I could easily tell this because the Baxter foundation exists, though no Fantastic Four as of yet. There were other things of course but they were irrelevant right now.
At least the godlike being didn't leave me iin something as bad as a roach motel level shitty place but it's a bit small for what I hope my future situation to be, especially with what that godlike dude gave me.
He explained it well enough and from what he told me, my shiny new Gacha System, unlike some stories I have read over the years about them, doesn't give out trash, maybe not something I want or need, but no broken spoons or other garbage like that at least,
My Gacha system gives me cards. I can get people, items, skills, powers and even world travel tickets. Sounds fun right? Well the down side of it all is that I only get 1 ticket a month and only start with 5, well technically 6 as I get one for this month also.
I can get more cards by completing achievements, there wasn't anything specified but I assume by accomplishing something of some level of importance is how that works.
Well on the plus side at least I am already 18 in this life and have graduated High School, so no school drama bullshittery so that's a plus.
On another high note, let's use tickets! "System use all 6 tickets!" I tell the system in the debths of my mind and it obeys.

The only thing I could think at the moment was holy shit! Ain't no way that was random or my system was OP as fuck! The next thing I thought was no way in hell could I summon both Hope and Ken, they would definitely try to kill each other! I suppose I could absorb one or both of them, that would make me all but instantly over powered, almost turning me into the final boss type person in most worlds I could think of. But no, I couldn't do that because let's be honest, Hope even with all her issues throughout her story, was still hot as fuck and absorbing Ken was more than enough for me... i mean come on! Potential godhood from the start!
I couldn't help myself, the first thing I did was summon Hopes card and tear it, immediately summoning the tribrid to the Marvel universe as she came before me in a golden flash of light!l
She looked slightly confused for a moment before her eyes quickly latched onto me.
"So your the one the voice told me about, who is granting me a second chance to live a new life?' She asked me tilting her head to the side slightly in question. I smiled at her, she was really pretty dressed in her leather armor, slightly braided hair and a sword on her back.
"Yes, my name is Alex, I am very much happy to meet you, and hope that we can work well together in the coming days!"
Without much thought I also absorbed the Ken card to begin my path to godhood, there were no flashes of light or anything crazy and the probable reason why is because when I checked, my template was only at 3% completion… relatively low but probably already puts me at the general physical level of captain America or at least somewhere close.

It was interesting getting to know the real Hope compared to seeing her tv series counterpart through the screen. While they look very similar and even act similar to how I remember her being in the series, she was also really chill considering she is probably one of the most powerful human beings on the planet especially in her original world.
The Hope I got was the Hope from just after the end of her battle with Ken so when I told her I had absorbed his power instead of summoning him to the world like I did her she found the very thought hilarious, the arrogant gods power absorbed by a normal human being.
We did a very light spar (by her standards) that left me soaked in sweat and sore all over and she guessed I was several times stronger than an average human at my current physical ability.
I had also used one of my background customization card to give Hope a background in this world and to say the effects were interesting would be an understatement. I had her help me write it up as it was her life. When I used the card her paperwork just popped into existence, ID, bank accounts, SSN, birth certificate, she even wrote herself a small inheritance from grandparents and it all became real. That's pretty fascinating if you ask me.
Other than that all we did was lightly explore the Cafes and coffee shops that were around the crappy apartment I started in.
I had also checked my world travel ticket and how it worked was kinda interesting in its own ways. There were no real time limits for staying there and I could choose to either be reinserted back into my world the moment I left or let the time difference flow 1:1. The other part to it was that my world travel ticket had multiple choices, I could choose between three worlds, all of them either interesting or highly amusing to me. The first choice was High School of the Dead, the second was the Underworld movie and the third option was Pirates of the Caribbean… those were all interesting choices to be fair.
The first option was full of hot high school chicks that look like they should be in college at least, a good world for recruiting desperate individuals. The second world was a world filled with Vampires and Lucan's, they are all immortal but not really magical like Hopes versions of such creatures. Not an overly interesting world but it did have Selene and I could always use minions, plus there was also the hot blonde vampire whose name escapes me currently. The last option was potentially the most dangerous for my current self, POTC.. had gods, curses and weird magic that I barely understood even watching the movies but it also had some magic objects that I wanted, primarily the fountain of youth which worked in weird ways. It was the most dangerous world but also the most rewarding one… unless you account for personal amusement which I did. I also wanted a sample of Alexander Corvinus blood.
With that last thought in mind, I knew what my choice would be and with Hope by my side I honestly didn't see any real issues In completing any of my goals, including recruitment.
