"Hello, Queen." Nangong Lin steadied her emotions slightly and greeted politely.
The Queen looked at her, grinning from ear to ear, which made Nangong Lin feel a bit insecure.
"Are you staying here too, Queen?" Nangong Lin asked, suddenly feeling a bit overwhelmed. How could she not feel overwhelmed if a Queen lived next door?
"I, oh, no." The Queen replied hurriedly, "It's my Alvin who will be staying here, I just came to check."
"Oh." Nangong Lin nodded, "I see. But I'm curious, why does Prince Alvin want to develop here long-term?"
"The Empire has great resources!" The Queen laughed, almost revealing she was here to find a daughter-in-law.
Nangong Lin found this answer a bit amusing, but she nodded politely, "Ah, that's great. Is there anything I can help with?"
