Ling Tianyou went to the company, and Gu Ningyue picked up her phone to call Lu Qingqing.
"Is Qianqian's stuff packed? Should I come over to pick her up tomorrow?" Gu Ningyue asked.
Lu Qingqing had thought there was no hope and was ready to send Ji Qianqian to a temple, but unexpectedly received a call from Gu Ningyue early in the morning: "Ling Tianyou agreed?"
"Yes." Gu Ningyue responded: "Well, I have some things to attend to this afternoon, originally I could have come over today, but it'll have to wait until tomorrow."
Lu Qingqing chuckled: "No worries, tomorrow works too."
The two exchanged pleasantries for a couple more sentences, and then Gu Ningyue suddenly said: "The ninth of next month is my engagement party with Ling Tianyou. On that day, could I invite Miss Lu to grace us with your presence?"
There wasn't really any conflict between them, and with Ji Qianqian as a link, Gu Ningyue thought inviting Lu Qingqing would be better than not inviting her.
