The masked man led the four towards the gate. No one around them suspected anything, as they seemed to be moving of their own free will. According to the masked man's instructions, none of them could even show fear or hesitation on their faces, or he would kill them immediately.
After exiting the gate, they continued their journey for about two hours towards the heart of the nearest forest, a few tens of miles away from the capital.
All the way there, Caesar and his group were trying to find loopholes around them or a miracle they could cling to, but the miracle never came.
