"Woah, It's so cool" Kuro's eyes light up at the sight of her brand new suit worn on a mannequin, She looks at it from every angle with stars in her eyes, the glint of light hitting the goggles on her mask which reminisce of snowboarding goggles, the top of the mask comes with two pink cat ears. The suit is black tight carbon fiber fabric with pink highlights, her gloves and shoes have a pink highlight glow under them. On both side of her thighs there is a rectangular slot and gun holsters behind her waist for her uzis.
"Put it on" emmy said with a smile, Kuro upon hearing that takes the suit and starts to strip right away, "KURO, NOT HERE" Emmy screamed with distress while Kuro looked confused in innocence, Emmy pulls Kuro's hand and brings her towards a room.
Suna looks disappointed at the suit in front of him, it is a white smooth and tight carbon fiber suit with a design that makes it seem like it is disintegrating into orange sand in certain areas of the suit, the mask is full white with a diagonal strip for eyes angling towards the center, the suit comes with a hood with the same disintegrating orang sand on the edges of the hood, as well as a sash to hold a katana on the back of the waist.
Suna turns to mecha with a timid voice "Uhm, it's not a ninja suit" he says, mecha upon hearing this scoffs "it's better then a ninja suit, design to be swift in air transverse and light, shoes with built in mute, bulletproof, a mask with built in mute, waterproof and other incredible techs. It is the most advanced suit your small brain can't handle" mecha points a finger on suna's head and pokes it.
X chuckles at the thought of how similar the two tech guys are, he then turns to his own suit.
A black smooth carbon fiber suit similar to Suna's but this one has a design with more unnecessary straps and zippers that have a red highlight to give it a low glow, the hood comes with the signitaure two red Xs on both sides and the mask has no eyes but only a large white smile with sharp teeth. "What i wanted down to the T" X eyes widen with surprised and approval as he grins.
Mecha sighs as he waves his hand "If you are done looking at my beautiful works, go on and put it on so we can do a test run" mecha falls down to a chair with one of his leg pulled near him as he sits waiting for them to change. Everyone gathers again in a wide white open room, suddenly the room morphs into a training ground with obstacles and targets.
Mecha voice booms from a speaker "test test, how does the suit feel?" He asked as he watches from the observation deck above. Kuro jumps around doing flips and cartwheels all with a laugh "Awesome" she exclaimed while suna looks down on his hands and suit, touching his arm.
X yawns as his the only one not using the mask, "alright, I'm only going to explain this once so listen up" mecha says while pinching his forehead.
"Let's start with Cat" mecha says, Kuro eyes light up "That's me" she says while raising her hand high up in the air, "Yes, yes, it's you" Mecha sighs. "I've design your suit to be light with enchant traction for better grip on any surface as you would be moving in all directions. The suit is also very flexible, able to stretch and shrink to your need, all to not hinder your speed and agility" mecha explaned.
Kuro takes a run around the room, jumping over boxes and climbing walls, moving with ease through flips and jumps. She looks around the training ground from a roof of a makeshift building
"As for the bullet problem, I've put some slots on both side of your thighs, try emptying your uzis on the targets" mecha said with a hint of excitement in his tone, Kuro pulls both her uzi from her back gun holsters, holding them up in her hands.
She jumps of the rooftop and let loose a rain of bullet towards the targets below, spinning around while she dives, letting the bullets fly freely.
Suna changes to sand while holding his hands up to block the bullets, X stands still with a grin as bullets fly towards him and burst in front of him.
The uzi triggers click as the mag is empty, kuro lands on the ground and still tries to click the trigger while feeling disappointed, suddenly the slots on both sides of her thighs open up and new mags are poking out.
The old mags of the uzi drops down the floor, "reload by inserting the new mags" mecha said, Kuro pulls her uzis down towards her thighs and insert the new mags with a click, "WOAH, is this magic?" Kuro pulls the trigger letting the bullets fly again, "you could say that" mecha says not wanting to explain the details as it would be useless.
Kuro runs around gunning down targets with her uzis, moving with incredible speed and reloading with ease in swift movements, bullets fly like a never ending storm.
"Alright moving on, Dust" mecha stretches his hands up and leans back in his chair, Suna gets ready and unsheathe his katana from his back sash, "not much to say really, I've already explained the properties of the suit, uh yea take it for a spin or something" mecha plays with a pen.
Suna turns towards the target dummies infront of him as he grips his katana. He starts moving forward and turns into sand moving swiftly in the air, turning back to his solid form to cut through the dummies, "still to slow" suna says as he returns to solid.
"Still so cool" mecha says to himself as he watches suna moving swiftly in his sand form "man imagine a weapon like him" mecha thinks as he watches.
X folds his arms and looks up towards the observation deck, mecha feels the stare and turns towards X, "cool?" Mecha asked feeling a bit nervous in which even he doesn't understand, "Cool" X said in a monotone voice.
"Moving on, let's get more serious" mecha shakes off the feeling and grins, he presses a button and the room morphs into an open white space, in 3 sides of the room a button appears on the wall and glows red.
"You must press the 3 buttons at the same time and only with your hand" mecha giggles, kuro turns around to see her side of the room, suddenly from the ground around the room emerge countless robots with a variety of weapons.
"Of course it wouldn't be that easy, made by yours truly, these D-bots are programmed to only put you down" mecha chuckles but then leans back and sigh "alright, proceed" he said while opening a video game on the monitor.
Surrounded by the D-bots, Suna grips his katana near his face, kuro lifts up both of her uzis, and X grins. A few second of tension before the D-bots start rushing towards them, "get to the button first" X says as he leap forward landing a punch on a D-bots head which sends it flying back hitting the others, giving X space to run futher.
Kuro shoots out a barrage of bullets, the bullets pierce through the D-bots, dropping them in her wake. She uses the fallen bodies as a ramp and leaps above the other d-bots with light she rains her bullets down on their heads.
Suna takes a deep breath, disintegrates into sand and flies through the air, he tries his best to change back and forth as swiftly, so their weapons never land a hit on him. He flies upwards into the air as he reforms to take another deep breath, he dives down and disintegrates again as he expands his sand to form a fog to blind the bots, taking this chance to move closer to the button.
X walks through the D-bots on his path like they are made of nothing, not even using his chains to make it easier, he grabs a D-bot by the head and holds it up front as he keeps walking, the D-bots slams into the others and push them back before getting crushed to pieces by the force.
X speeds up his pace, he knees one on the chin which sends it up then spins to kick it forwards, D-bots coming from his sides throw their weapons, X grabs them and send the weapons towards the opposite thrower.
X grabs another D-bots and rips their arms, kicking it to the side he uses the arms as he smacks the the other D-bots out of the way, D-bots flying across the air as he rushes towards the button all with a laugh.
Kuro lands from her leap in a cool hero pose, she looks towards the endless wave of D-bots coming towards her, standing up as she reloads her uzis with a drop of her hands.
She guns towards the front with her uzis firing, the D-bots falling down in her path as she runs on them, with her athleticism and speed she moves around the battlefield as she runs around the bots before they can hit her.
She leaps once again using a D-bots shoulder as she flips upside down with her gun aim to the ground, letting the bullets rain down, she flips back upwards as she lands on her knees sliding as she shoot her uzis around her, moving closer to the button.
Suna gets surrounded by D-bots, their weapons passing through him as he moves forwards, *i need to change faster* he thinks to himself with a grunt, his movements increasing in pace as he tries to reform faster to be able to slash the bots.
His katana reforms and disintegrates in incredible speed, but the control isn't enough as his katana passes through some D-bots without slicing them, he expands his sand yet again. Suna falls to the ground with a heavy breath, a last attemp to hide himself so he could rest and take a breath as the D-bots surround him, he hits the floor *why can't i be faster* his fist reddened from the impact.
He stands up taking another breath, he disintegrate his body as the sands move around him, he screams as he rushes towards the D-bots, blinded by anger he swings his blade as he reforms, getting cut by the weapons of the D-bots, he moves forward toward the button.
X arrives to the button first and turns around to see the other two near the button but not yet there, he prepares his hand in front of the button as he watches the other two, trying his best to time it perfectly.
Kuro and Suna both struggling in the final distance, kuro dodging the weapon slicing down and thrown at her, suna out of breath as he flies through the air toward the button, kuro then leaps towards the button. Both their hands reaching out towards the button, suna slowly reforms from his hands towards his legs, suna's leg gets pullet by a D-bot same time as kuro.
X seeing this stretches his hand back as he turns towards his button, as he does that chains in front of suna and kuro appear wrapping around their arm, X pulls his hand back as he moves to press the button, the chains following X pulls the two as they reach for the button.
The three of them presses the button at the same time, the D-bots all stop in their tracks, Suna and kuro fall down on their face as the chain losses tension.
"Oh you're done?" Mecha's voice comes out of the speaker as he turns towards them from the observation deck while closing his game, "that was quicker then i thought" He sighs as he hasn't finished his game, "alright, you can leave" he presses a button which sends the D-bots back as well as opens the door of the training room.
X walks towards the middle as he pulls the two still face planted on the ground with his chains, "like the suits?" X asked as he looked down, Kuro jumps up with a giant smile "They are awesome" she exclaimed with a hop, Suna gives a thumbs up from the ground.
"Good, that means we are all set for the mission" X grins, the two of them look towards him, kuro with a curious smile and Suna with a curious look.
Back at the Misfits base (mansion)
Emmy clears her throat "I need everyone's attention, your mission is to find and escort the head scientists, lukyan victorovich ivanov, from a foundation located at the top of Prostvet mountain back to our base, he is needed for questioning on his association with the man we assume to be the one who caused the appearance of the Domains, the man by the alias Ictharus." Emmy explains.
She turns around from the screen in the makeshift meeting room towards the others to see the two of them but X paying attention, she smacks X on the head.
"What the hell, i was already briefed before, this meeting is for them" He said holding his head, "I know that, i just don't like you" Emmy says as she smirks, X looks in disbelief.
Emmy returns to the topic, "please be aware that he is expecting us to sent someone to get him as he is a very very paranoid man" Emmy looks towards the two, "did he do something?" Suna asked.
"illegal experiments would be our main suspicion but we do not have information of what the foundation has conducted" Emmy says with a soft sigh. "I'm so excited, this is the first ever mission, first!" Kuro couldn't hold back her excitement, Emmy smiles "please do be careful" she says with worry.
"So, I'll take this as you two agreeing to go in this mission" X says as he turns towards them still lazily leaning towards the table, "yup" Kuro says without hesitation, "of course" Suna says as he looks determine.
"Great, i was planning on forcing you if you had said no" X chuckles as he says that, "I'll inform the commander that everything is set" Emmy says as she leaves the room, she turns back before walking out the door with a smile "Good luck".
"So, do we have a plan?" Suna turns to X, X chuckles "plan's simple" he grins as he looks at them both with a mischievous face
The next day at 15,000 meters in the air
"Get in, get the guy, get out, i call it operative GGG" X laughs at his own brilliance while sitting down at the plane, everyone having their suits on, "okay okay, but in all seriousness I've decided to go with no plan" X wipes a joyful tear of his eyes.
Upon hearing this Suna stands up in disbelief "what do you mean no plan?" His voice projecting worry and anger at the same time, "I want to see how we do with improvisation" X smirks towards Suna, Suna face palms "tell me you're joking please".
Kuro doesn't care in the slightest if there was a plan to begin as her attention is watching the white snow mountains outside of the aircraft.
"back in kakerui, we didn't have a plan and it went well" X reminiscences of their lovely time at kakerui forest, "A fucking giant demon snake showed up, I almost lost my life, and kakerui is in ruins!!" Suna opens his arms in anger and disbelief, "sounds like this will be a good way to improve our improvisation skills" X chuckles as he leans back with his mind set.
Suna walks towards X but halts as the intercom turns on "approaching the foundation, This is the furthest we can fly, any further we will surely be detected so i suggest to drop now" the pilot announced as he opens the hatch.
X stands up and pats Suna's shoulder "what do you know, here's a good start to the improvisation class, how do we get down safely" X grins as he looks towards Suna as they both watch the hanger door open to the snowy mountains, Suna looks confused "we used those parachute bags, right?" He said as he looks around for them.
X giggles "nope, right answer we don't need them. See, you can turn to sand, Kuro can land on her feet, and I have chains" He says with no worry or doubt, "Are you insane??" Suna shouts "Kuro can't survive a fall from this height!" He says with fear and dread.
"But she's a cat isn't she?" X genuine ask which just fuels Suna's anger "Yes but not even a cat could survive this fall!" Suna glares at X, "Alright fine, but you can't blame me for thinking that Kuro could land on her feet" X acts innocent "Ain't that right Kuro" He turns towards where Kuro was, Suna follows to see an empty chair.
Suna's eyes and face turn pale as he turns towards the open hatch, not wasting a second he runs forwards "KURO" he shouted as he jumped out of the aircraft.
X laughs and turns around to the intercom "Oh what an interesting duo, I was so right to keep them" He said with absolute Joy as he runs towards the hatch following Suna off the aircraft.
Suna Free falls in the air, his eyes searching for kuro when he sees her down below, Kuro stretches out like a star as she screamed in excitement while free falling, her face showing no fear. Suna disintegrate and dives faster, stopping beside Kuro as he reforms, "Hey Suna" Kuro said with a bright smile, "don't hey Suna me, what are you thinking jumping off the aircraft?" Suna said in a panic.
Kuro looked at him with an innocent confused look, "But the snow looked so beautiful" she said, her eyes sparkles at the sight of the snowy mountains below. "Kuro, have you even thought of how to land?" Suna asked, in which Kuro proceeds to show a pose similar to a cat reaching their paws towards the ground "like this, snow is soft too" she says without hesitation. "From this height it isn't safe either way" Suna says as he turns to the quickly approaching snowy mountain below.
Suna disintegrate and flies towards Kuro with his hand reach out to grab her but his hands just passes by as sand, he reforms and hugs her before trying to disintegrate and fly up but his hand just let's her fall through. Frustrated and panicked, he flies down below Kuro as their distance from the ground decreases quick, he then flies back up and reforms.
Kuro reaches out her hand as she gets ready to land on her feet but then sees Suna's sand fly towards her from below, it reforms as his hand opens up, Suna catches Kuro in his arms as his body still carries momentum from his flight, hoping to lessen her velocity by any amount.
His hands wrap around Kuro, Kuro feels his warmth as she gets pushed slightly but still they fall downwards with incredible velocity, Her eyes widen by his touch, she could feel his heartbeat shake in fear, in panic, and in worry. Her head turns towards his at her side, his eyes closed tight, his lips trembling, his hold on her strong. For a moment everything but him faded, Kuro hands slowly wrap around him as she holds him with the same amount of strength, her head leaning on his as she shuts her eyes tight to brace for impact.
