Chapter 41 - 41 noita

After 30 minutes i gave up on trying to find something that not even the cultist knows about so i went a few kilometres away and entered noita and i would be there until it was close to the gathering of cultists.

'just make it so that i live in a small hut close to the cave'

Upon opening my eyes i see that i am sitting on a rock grilling a piece of meat on a stick inside of a forest and a window popped up.

[Quest: absorb the sampo and kill the boss guarding it.

Reward/s: one skill from kolmisilmä (the boss)]

Teleporting on top of the tree i see that i am about 1km from the location where the game starts.

Teleporting on top of the mountain i see a witch in purple robes and three wands walking into the cave entrance.

With my stealth set i went and sneaked some way away from the witch to observe what she will do, i gathered that she was most likely the character you play as in noita.

After 5 minutes of walking down we finally saw a first monster which was a zombie that walked on all four and his mouth looked like the volatile has in dying light.

As soon as the zombie noticed minä it jumped at her from 15 meter at the speed of a decent car but minä took out one of her wands and aimed it at the zombie.

A laser that was as fast as a bullet came out of the wand and created a hole inside the zombies head which instantly collapsed to the ground.

After an hour of just following minä i decided to go on without her and explore this place.

After 30 minutes i came across a pedestal with a floating want on top of it, upon observing the wand i saw.

While this was interesting i observed the pedestal if there was anything special about it.

[Pedestal (holy): a pedestal that was reinforced with holy energy of a god who died long ago used to imbue wands with power over a long period of time]

Punching it with 20% of my strenght i am surprised it only has cracks with my fist mark on it and some holy energy starts leaking out, well it was to be expected since a god reinforced it and gods usually are called gods for a reason.

Creating a mana barrier around the pedestal so that the holy energy won't disperse i start coating my fist in telekinetic energy before punching and shattering it on impact at which point all the holy energy explodes outward but is soon blocked by my barrier and doesn't expand any further.

Putting my finger inside the barrier i find out that it only hurts slightly which means that my weakness to holy energy is way less severe than light used to be, so with that i walk inside and see that my mana and ambient mana is being slowly purified most likely because of the purity of the holy energy.

Sitting down i meditate and make my mana purer for 1 hour because by that time all of the holy energy has been diluted due to me using it so now it would be as effective to purify my mana as if i was doing it in some random forest.

It was very effective since i got 2 mana purity stat.

After that i explored some more and after 5 hours i purified my mana with 4 more pedestals so i gained another 8 purity and 3 more wand which were underwhelming one had a short teleport bolt while the next one had a lightning bolt and the last one had a healing bolt.

Now i was just descending until i found a portal which lead into a temple and unlike in the game where you couldn't see the other side of the portal in real life i could see the other side.

Upon walking in i saw that the portal was only one way so i went forward and saw a room with 3 floating orbs.

After observing it i found out they were perks?

[Perk contract: by picking any of these 3 orbs the others will disappear and you will be bound to a god.]

Yea i don't want to be bound to any sort of god so i just looked at the room around me and waited at the exit for minä.

Only an hour later and i saw her walking and inspecting the perks at which point i let out a giant explosion which splattered her across the wall.

Why did i do it? Well mostly because i don't want to turn into gold along with all of this world if she managed to get to kolmi first.

After that 5 purple vortex's appeared and i heard in my mind 'the vessel has been slain by you'.

Out of the vortex's came out 4 regular sized skeletons without legs floating with a staff in their arms and out of the last portal came a buff looking skeleton without legs and an even larger staff but they did not attack instead the large one took out a piece of paper and i heard a voice come from all directions.

"Mortal, for killing our vessel we give you a choice. Either you sign this contract to kill kolmisilmä and destroy the sampo or you will be sent into hell for the rest of eternity. However if you do decide to take on this challenge and succeed you may take one of our artifacts and by destroying the sampo you will save the world, so choose wisely mortal".

Upon observing the contract i am quite surprised that there are no hidden deals because my observation skill says that what it says is true and my instincts are also telling me that there isn't anything wrong so i decide to take it and write my name with my blood.

Upon doing that i heard the voice say "wise choice".

Soon the skeletons disappeared and a new quest window pops up which was basically the same from earlier.

I can't really complain about this because i also got a new skill because of the contract.

[Contract defier (T:1): the stronger this skill the less you have to abide to a soul contract and the less severe the consequences for breaking said contract. 1/100 rare]

And a big plus of this skill is that it can't really be sensed by anyone as long as i follow the contract plus it also gains exp as long as a contract is active.

For the next few hours i just ran unnoticed by the creatures of this place to find more pedestals.

After purifying my mana with 20 pedestal which only raised my purity stat by 8 i was finally infront of a red portal and i also killed a lot of monsters which managed to bring me up to lvl 97.

It was quite easy killing all the monsters since my power is not at all proportional to me lvl.

Right now my power is probably enough to destroy a 3 story building with a giant ball of concentrated lightning. (His strongest attack could do a bit over 10 million damage which is a fk ton but in the vast multiverse its not much).

I walk into the red portal.
