Holding the cat, Shard tried to exhibit his sincerity, Miss Danester sighed slightly:
"Do you know what you're talking about? The Demon of Misfortune has never been recorded as being sealed since any documentation began; we don't even know what its true form is. Defeating the one who seals it in any era would qualify them to be written into history books. Even having a statue on the square outside this library wouldn't be an exaggeration. Shard, are you clear-headed?"
"I'm very clear-headed and confident. You know me, Miss Danester, haven't I been continually creating miracles until now?"
Shard felt a bit arrogant after he said that. But he didn't know that the librarian in front of him didn't consider it boasting; she merely looked concernedly at her student:
"You don't need to take everything upon yourself; it will make your life tiring. You're only in your twenties, at this age..."
