It's been so long since I've arrived here, I don't even remember how long it has been. Yes, that's right I am dead and floating in the void since who knows when, Oh how rude of me, I am Lucifer, I am 18 years old. You see I was just an ordinary teen in my senior high school year. I don't want to sound narcissistic but I have quite the good looks with my pale face and eyes like a purple diamond, smooth silky black hair with hints of purple in them, My physic is built like an Olympic swimmer. All teachers loved me, I had good grades and was pretty popular as well, I am what you would call a model student. You could say I had a good life even after my parents' death, But… even after all this I never feel happy. The only time I feel happy is when I read fantasy stories. Stories where the protagonist freely flies in the sky, cross oceans and mountains. I long for this kind of freedom. One of my favorite stories is Twilight. I mainly love it because of one character, Rosalie Hale. I really admire the fact that even after having such a tragic past she remained strong even though it has been so easy for her to break down. She could have hated all men and would have been justified but she chose not to blame others for the hideousness of a select few. How I wish I could live in a fantastical world…

Sunday morning when I was walking to the grocery store to get groceries for my home, I heard a noise from the main road. There was a child about 6 years old in the middle of the road and there was a truck coming and its driver was half awake and half asleep. I don't know what took over me. I didn't think about anything dashed toward the girl to save her life. The next thing I noticed I was laying on the ground half-conscious and the girl I saved was next to me crying her mother was beside her and I was surrounded by people. Some tried to contact an ambulance but I knew I wouldn't be able to survive. I patted the girl's head and somehow said in a raspy voice. "Little girl don't cry it was not your fault but in the future first look around where you're going" after saying that I breathed my last breath and died.
So this is the story of how I died and came here, You know what I feel good about it, Yeah I know only some stupid guy would say this but I do feel good, I never felt happy in that life I always let people near me feel that I am happy but I was really not happy, Not after my parents died and in my last moments I saved a little life it was good.
Now I am really bored here there is nothing here I can't see or hear anything nor can I feel something here, Suddenly there's a blinding white light and I am sucked inside that light and now I am sitting in front of an old man wearing a white robe and has a calming aura around him. I felt relaxed and calm in front of the old man.
"Hello child, I see that you have died saving that little girl." the old man said with a calming voice that soothed my soul.
"Who are you? And where am I?" I asked the old man which in response he smiled and replied.
"For your first question, I am a higher being or in your terms GOD and for your second question this is the place where I decide where the soul has to go." the old man now known as god said.
"Oh… so can I ask where I will go?" I asked the god.
God simply replied with "My child, you have very good karma so I can either send you to heaven or reincarnate you with some wishes, It's purely your choice where you want to go. And if you choose to reincarnate I will reincarnate you in any universe you desire."
"How much karma do I have? If you don't mind me asking?" I asked the god with some curiosity.
"I know what you are thinking, and for the question, you have 174 million karma," God said with amusement.
As soon as I heard how much karma I have my jaw dropped to the ground, I hurriedly asked how I have this much karma to which god simply replied with "You saved that little girl on the of your death, That girl became a very good doctor and found a cure for cancer and many more diseases. And she adopted as many orphan children as she could as she knew you were an orphan and became second mother Teresa, so she earned a lot of karma and you were the one to save her, you got some of her karma."
'So she became a famous doctor, I am glad she was safe after the incident.' I thought to myself.
"I choose to reincarnate in Twilight," I said to god with a hint of excitement.
"Very well my child, now tell me what are your wishes but you only have two wishes and you can't ask for godhood, godhood is earned so I cannot fulfill that wish of yours so choose very carefully," God said with a smile.
"For my first wish I want to become the ruler of shadows, I want to control shadows of anyone and myself to become anything for example weapons and clothes. And for my second wish, I want the ability to change anyone's physiology. For example, give vampires the ability to eat and have children and to age." God hearing my wishes is thinking something then God says.
"Although your second wish is a bit much, I can give you the ability to change one's physiology but when a female vampire is giving birth she will be weakened and the child will be half-vampire. And vampires will be able to eat normal food but they still need to drink blood." God said with a nod.
"Alright, and can you make me Bella's little brother? And thank you for giving me this opportunity to reincarnate in my favorite universe, I am very grateful for what you have done for me." I said with a bow.
"It's nothing child and I will make you Bella's little brother, there is no problem and i will say this enjoy your new life and when you get there you will find another gift from me." After saying this god made a gesture and a black hole sucked me, I didn't even have a chance to ask what gift he prepared for me.
