It was a rather gloomy day,
the clouds were as dark as it could be, covering the skies, blocking the source of light to this world, roaring with thunder as lightning struck the ground, and strong winds blew leaves out of the trees.
It was the day....
the day in which a monster will arrive to this world, a monster that will tilt the balance of the universe, simply by existing. A monster that has been foreseen by many as the endgame, the one who will destroy everything, and put the world in chaos. The unstoppable force that will cleanse this world with blood and tears.
Since the dawn of time, humans have feared the concept of a variable in life that they couldn't control, such as time, death, and age. And so they tried their best to tamed them, control them. That day was no exception.
It has been let out to the world that all of the strongest and most powerful prophets in the world, united, have managed to predict the date of birth of the monster, and that was why pregnant women all over the world tried their best to avoid giving birth at that very date, as they would risk their child to be killed. Some of them even went into hiding, trying their best to avoid being found.
And so it has begun, the search for the monster, around 500.000.000 hunters, consist of powerful beings, have been dispatched by the higher ups to find that monster, and kill it on sight. Since the monster was very powerful, then it shouldn't be problem locating the monster as the hunters will able to detect a powerful wave of violent energy the monster emits.
But it was not possible to dispatched such a number and expect all of them to be competent. On that day, millions of children around the world have been mistaken as the monster and have been killed in cold blood. You could hear it, the scream, the terror, the pain of mothers who have just witnessed their child being killed right in front of their very own eyes, leaving them to curse not the people who killed their child, but the being who was the caused of this mass murder,
the monster itself.
Many people tried to protect their children, tried to be a hero, but it was no use, the higher ups has allowed the hunters to use full force and kill those who stood in their way of eliminating the monster, which resulted in such catastrophe and bloodshed. The hatred and fear towards the monster was real.
However, not all people wanted to kill the monster, one of the hunters that were dispatched had no intention of killing the monster, rather she wanted to spare it. Her name was Amisha Carter. And wouldn't you know it, destiny chose her to be the one who found the monster itself.
Her group was dispatched by the higher ups to investigate the area known as the Gobo Mountain. The mountain was covered with forests and was known to be vacant as the wild life was just far to dangerous to be a living environment for normal humans. Amisha in particular was sent to a shrine that was located near the top of the mountain.
The higher ups believed that the monster's mother could be hiding in shrines as well, and so they sent the hunters to search all the shrines in the world, which caused another problem, considering that shrines are sacred places and barging in with weapons and bloodlust is something that can not be accepted by the priests of the shrine, fights undoubtedly broke out between priests who wouldn't let the hunters enter the shrine and the hunters who forced their way in to the shrine. The fights killed thousands of priests all over the world, all in the name of killing the monster.
However, destiny was not to be shut silent by them, as the shrine that Amisha Carter went to, was a small abandoned and ruined shrine. The shrine was named "Awal". It was abandoned due to the "Massacre of the wise" incident that took place about a century ago.
Amisha found the shrine and was about to enter the shrine when she heard the crying of a baby. Amisha sensed her surrounding but she didn't sense any violent energy wave around the shrine.
Even though she knew whoever that baby was, wasn't the monster, she was still curious as she followed the sound to its source.
But then she sensed another person's presence, the person was running away from the source of the sound, and so Amisha started to pick up her speed trying to find out what was really happening.
When she got to where the sound came from, she discovered a dead girl, footprints, and the source of the sound, a baby.
Amisha was taken by surprise for sure, she checked the girl's body and discovered that she has just given birth to the baby, and that she died because of it. The girl was still very young, perhaps about 18-22 years old.
Amisha checked the footprints as well but it led to nowhere. She thought about investigating it further, but quickly remembered that her main task was to find the monster.
Plus, the baby kept on crying non-stop. Amisha lifted the baby in effort to calm him. She took a good look at the baby and she realized that the baby had purple eyes. She couldn't help but feel odd about it, and then she felt it.
An overwhelming power surging through her body, a power so great and massive that it sent shivers down her spine, to the point that she was shook by that power alone. At that moment, she realized,
"He is The Monster."
