Chaos at the Monaco Grand Prix

The moment Jack's face became visible beneath the blazing Mediterranean sun, the atmosphere inside the Monaco Grand Prix circuit changed completely.

For a brief second, the entire stadium seemed frozen in stunned silence.

Then panic exploded.

"My God… that's Jack!"

"That's really him!"

"The public enemy of humanity is here!"

People in the grandstands erupted into terrified shouting.

"Run!"

"Get out of here!"

"Move! Move!"

The elegant Monaco race event, once filled with luxury and glamour, collapsed instantly into disorder. Spectators scrambled over seats and barriers, pushing and shoving each other in a desperate attempt to escape.

Some stumbled down the aisles in blind panic.

Others tripped over fallen chairs and abandoned bags.

The roar of frightened voices echoed through the stands like a tidal wave.

To them, seeing Jack standing there was like watching a monster step into the daylight.

---

Iron Man's Fury

Tony Stark—now fully encased in the red and gold Iron Man armor—turned toward Jack.

Even through the metal faceplate, the rage in his voice was unmistakable.

"Jack!"

The name burst from him like a roar of pure hatred.

But before he could charge—

CRACK!

A whip streaking with blazing electrical sparks lashed across Iron Man's body.

The strike landed with terrifying force.

The electric current surged violently across the armor's surface.

Iron Man staggered backward.

The Russian attacker—still clutching the two electrified steel whips—advanced toward Tony with slow, deliberate steps.

His expression burned with cold hatred.

Tony struggled to steady himself.

He raised one armored palm.

The circular emitter in his hand began glowing brighter as energy gathered inside the repulsor system.

But the attack never came.

The Russian moved faster.

The steel whip snapped forward again.

This time it wrapped tightly around Iron Man's neck.

The whip crackled as waves of high voltage surged through it.

Electric arcs danced violently across Tony's armor.

Inside the suit, warning systems blared.

Tony gritted his teeth.

His muscles locked under the assault of the current.

---

Jack Intervenes

Suddenly—

Jack moved.

His body blurred like a shadow.

One moment he stood several meters away.

The next—

He appeared directly behind the Russian.

A pistol appeared in his hand.

Without hesitation—

BANG!

The shot echoed sharply across the racetrack.

The bullet struck the Russian squarely in the head.

Blood burst outward.

The man's body jerked violently.

"Ah…"

The Russian trembled.

Slowly… painfully… he collapsed forward onto the asphalt.

His eyes remained wide open, staring at Jack with disbelief.

"You… you…"

Jack glanced down at him calmly, still holding the smoking pistol.

He sighed softly.

"Don't look at me like that," Jack said casually. "I have no interest in learning your name."

He tilted his head slightly.

"In Iron Man 2, you were just a villain anyway."

His voice carried a strange mixture of amusement and boredom.

"You were always destined to die here."

The Russian's breathing faltered.

Then stopped.

---

Tony's Confusion

Iron Man stared at Jack in stunned disbelief.

"Why did you kill him?" Tony demanded.

Jack shrugged lightly.

"Why not?"

Then his eyes gleamed with mock amusement.

"Tony… I never expected to run into you here today."

His smile widened.

"Seeing me again—are you happy?"

Tony ignored the taunt.

His voice turned fierce.

"Where is Pepper?"

The energy in his palm cannon surged.

"Let her go!"

A repulsor beam fired toward Jack.

Jack stepped aside effortlessly.

The beam streaked past him and blasted a smoking crater into the track behind.

"Pepper?" Jack said lazily.

He chuckled.

"She's doing quite well."

His voice dropped into a teasing tone.

"Relax. I'm taking very good care of her."

Tony's anger exploded.

"I said release her!"

He launched himself forward, armored boots smashing against the asphalt as he rushed toward Jack.

Jack merely watched him calmly.

"I've told you before," he said quietly, "anger without power is nothing but stupidity."

Then—

Jack's eyes flashed.

Something invisible surged outward.

Tony's armored fist stopped mid-swing.

Just one millimeter from Jack's face.

It froze completely.

Tony struggled.

The armor whined under the strain.

But his body refused to move.

"Damn it!" Tony roared.

Jack smiled faintly.

"Pepper will not be released," he said coldly.

"She belongs to me now."

His gaze turned contemptuous.

"If you want her back… come take her."

He leaned slightly closer.

"Assuming you have the ability."

---

The Bullet

Suddenly—

BANG!

A gunshot rang out.

Jack's body shifted instinctively.

But the bullet still struck his shoulder.

The specially made round punched through the surface of his skin.

Blood sprayed lightly into the air.

Jack's expression changed instantly.

For the briefest moment—

His concentration faltered.

The invisible force binding Iron Man vanished.

Tony felt the restraint disappear.

His body suddenly became light again.

Freedom returned.

"Ahhh!"

With a furious roar, Tony swung his armored fist.

The blow slammed directly into Jack's face.

The impact sent Jack flying backward.

His body rolled across the asphalt for more than ten meters before finally stopping.

Dust scattered around him.

Jack slowly rose to his feet.

He wiped a trace of blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Not bad," he muttered.

Then his eyes drifted toward his injured shoulder.

The bullet wound had pierced his skin.

A dark expression flickered across his face.

"So there are bullets capable of penetrating my skin," Jack murmured softly.

His gaze sharpened.

"If that kind of technology exists…"

His voice turned cold.

"…it can only belong to S.H.I.E.L.D."

A faint smile appeared.

"I know who fired that shot."

He flexed his fingers slightly.

"Since you gave me a bullet today… I'll repay you with artillery later."

---

Tony Attacks Again

Tony saw Jack standing unharmed.

His frustration boiled over.

"Damn you!"

Iron Man charged again.

Jack's body vanished.

In the blink of an eye—

He reappeared directly above Tony.

Then—

Jack's foot slammed downward.

BOOM!

The impact shattered the concrete racetrack.

Tony's armored body was driven deep into the ground.

Cracks spread outward like spiderwebs.

Iron Man lay embedded in the asphalt, leaving behind a human-shaped crater.

---

Another Shooter

Jack's head turned slowly.

His gaze fixed on a distant building.

Another bullet streaked toward him.

This time—

Jack simply raised his hand.

The bullet stopped.

Suspended in midair.

He caught it effortlessly between his fingers.

Jack examined the round briefly.

Then his eyes shifted toward the rooftop where the shot had originated.

On top of the building, a sniper quickly lowered their head, retreating from sight.

Jack chuckled.

"Interesting."

His fingers tightened.

The bullet crumbled into metallic powder.

---

Reinforcements Arrive

A distant thunder began echoing across the sky.

Jack looked upward.

Several fighter jets were approaching at high speed.

At least ten of them.

Their engines roared across the coastline.

At the same time—

The wail of sirens filled the streets.

Dozens of police vehicles raced toward the circuit entrance.

Riot police began pouring out of the cars.

Jack sighed.

"That's quite the reception."

His tone sounded almost disappointed.

"Looks like the army will arrive soon too."

He glanced down at Tony.

"Tony," Jack said calmly.

"We'll continue this next time."

His smile returned.

"I hope you'll be able to entertain me more when we meet again."

---

Jack's Escape

Jack's body flickered again.

He reappeared beside his transformed race car—Crosshairs.

The machine immediately came to life.

The engine roared.

The car accelerated violently across the track.

Instead of heading toward the exit—

Jack drove straight toward the grandstand.

People screamed.

The vehicle shot up the slope toward the highest tier.

Then—

It launched into the air.

At that moment, Tony climbed out of the crater in the racetrack.

He looked up.

"Jack!"

His voice roared with fury.

"Let Pepper go!"

The sky swallowed the sound as the car disappeared.

---

A Luxurious Room

Far away from the chaos—

Inside a quiet luxury suite.

Pepper Potts sat on a large bed.

Her wrists and ankles were tightly bound.

Tape sealed her mouth.

The television in front of her displayed the live broadcast of the Monaco Grand Prix.

She watched the screen with wide, furious eyes.

"Mm—mm—!"

Angry sounds escaped her throat as she struggled against the ropes.

Then—

The door opened.

Jack walked in.

He looked relaxed.

Almost cheerful.

"Well," he said lightly, glancing at the television.

"That race was quite entertaining."

His lips curved into a grin.

"My performance wasn't bad, right?"

Pepper glared at him with burning hatred.

"Mm! Mm!"

Jack laughed softly.

He walked over and ripped the tape from her mouth.

"There," he said.

"You must be excited after watching such a spectacular show."

"Jack!" Pepper shouted. "You devil!"

Jack tilted his head thoughtfully.

"Devil?"

He smiled.

"I like that title."

His hand reached out.

His fingers gently brushed across her cheek.

Pepper jerked her head away.

"Don't touch me!"

Jack chuckled.

"You know," he said casually, "Tony really cares about you."

His tone carried playful mockery.

"Maybe losing you made him realize how important you are."

Jack leaned closer.

"If I returned you now… I'd bet you two would become lovers immediately."

Pepper turned her face away.

"Do you plan to release me?" she asked coldly.

Jack shook his head.

"Of course not."

He sighed lightly.

"Which is unfortunate."

Pepper frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Jack's smile turned strangely mischievous.

"If you and Tony had already slept together," he said, "I wouldn't have taken you."

Pepper blinked in shock.

"Why?"

Jack shrugged.

"I'm not interested in shoes someone else has already worn."

His eyes glimmered with dark amusement.

"But nothing happened between you two."

"Hateful," Pepper muttered.

Jack suddenly pulled her into his arms.

"Accept your fate," he whispered.

"You can't escape me."

Before she could react—

Jack kissed her again.

Pepper struggled desperately.

"Mm—mm—!"

Anger and humiliation burned in her eyes.

Then—

Ding dong.

The doorbell rang.
