Puente Antiguo – The Destroyer's Rampage

The Destroyer advanced into Puente Antiguo like an unstoppable force of destruction.

Its heavy metal feet struck the ground with thunderous weight, each step sending vibrations through the cracked desert streets. Around it, chaos unfolded. Buildings crumbled like fragile toys under the overwhelming heat of its attacks, and the air itself seemed to warp under the intensity of the blazing flames it released.

Columns of fire burst from its face in rapid succession, sweeping across the town like a deadly storm.

Cars exploded.

Walls shattered.

People screamed.

To the Destroyer, everything in its path was nothing more than dust.

---

"You need to leave here now!" Thor shouted, his voice filled with urgency. "It is here to kill me!"

His eyes burned with determination, but beneath that was something heavier—guilt.

Volstagg stepped forward, gripping his massive axe tightly.

"No, Thor!" he roared. "We fight together!"

"Yes!" Fandral added, drawing his blade. "We stand with you!"

Hogun and Sif also stepped forward, their expressions firm and unyielding.

"We fight with you," Sif said quietly, but with absolute conviction.

Thor clenched his fists.

"You cannot stay here," he said. "You must find my brother and stop him!"

---

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The sound of the Destroyer's footsteps echoed like drums of war.

Flames erupted around it as it moved forward, its presence suffocating the battlefield with overwhelming pressure.

"Let's go all out!" Volstagg roared.

With a powerful leap, he charged toward the Destroyer, raising his axe high.

"Die, you metal monster!"

CLANG!

The moment his axe struck—

The Destroyer's iron fist moved.

Volstagg was sent flying instantly, his massive body crashing through debris as if he weighed nothing.

"Damn it—!" he groaned.

At that moment—

While the Destroyer's attention was on Volstagg, Sif descended from above like a falling star.

Her spear gleamed in the firelight.

With perfect precision, she thrust it directly into the Destroyer's head.

THRUST!

The machine froze.

Its movements stopped completely.

Silence.

Sif landed gracefully, a smile appearing on her face.

"We did it."

But—

"Lady Sif, watch out!" Thor shouted suddenly.

The Destroyer's head began to twist unnaturally.

The metal plates shifted.

The face rotated.

And then—

A blinding flame erupted again.

"Ah—!"

Sif barely managed to dodge in time, rolling across the ground as the fire scorched the air where she had stood.

---

"Everyone, run!" Thor roared.

The Destroyer unleashed another beam.

BOOM!

A nearby building was sliced clean in half.

The explosion sent burning debris flying in all directions, raining down like deadly meteors.

---

Pepper's eyes widened in shock.

A massive wave of flames surged toward her.

For a moment, her mind went blank.

Then—

A blur.

Her body was suddenly lifted.

The next second, she was no longer where she had been standing.

The heat vanished.

The flames were gone.

Pepper blinked.

She realized she was being held.

Jack.

He set her down gently.

"Why did you save me?" Pepper asked, staring at him.

Jack looked at her calmly.

"Why?" he repeated.

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

"Whether you admit it or not…"

"You are mine."

Pepper's expression hardened.

"I will never admit that."

Jack shrugged slightly.

"It doesn't matter."

"As long as I admit it."

Before Pepper could respond—

He vanished.

Gone without a trace.

Pepper stood there in shock for a moment.

Then her fists clenched tightly.

"Jack… I will never submit to you."

"You scum."

---

Jane looked around frantically.

"Tom? Where are you?"

Her heart began to race.

Where did he go?

Nothing could have happened to him… right?

"He'll be fine," she tried to convince herself.

But doubt crept in.

---

"Jane, hurry!" Erik shouted from a distance.

Jane turned toward him—

Just as a massive piece of debris fell from above.

CRASH!

Erik was struck in the shoulder, knocked to the ground with a cry of pain.

"Erik!" Jane shouted.

She ran toward him without hesitation.

"Jane, watch out!" Erik shouted desperately from the ground.

Jane turned—

Too late.

A large chunk of debris was already falling toward her head.

Her instincts kicked in.

She raised her arms to protect herself.

This is going to hurt…

Or worse—

But the impact never came.

Jane slowly lowered her arms.

A figure stood in front of her.

"Tom…"

Jack.

Blood flowed steadily down his body.

He had taken the hit for her.

Jack's voice sounded weak.

"I used my energy… to protect you…"

He coughed softly.

"…but it seems… I can't hold on much longer…"

Jane's eyes widened.

"No—!"

She dropped to her knees beside him.

"Tom, don't do this!"

Tears began to stream down her face uncontrollably.

"Talk to me! Please talk to me!"

Jack's breathing appeared shallow.

"Jane… I don't regret it…"

Jane shook her head violently.

"I regret it!"

Her voice broke.

"I haven't even told you how I feel!"

"Wake up and listen to me, Tom!"

---

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The Destroyer continued advancing.

Its face began to glow again, flames gathering for another attack.

Erik struggled to stand.

He grabbed Jane's arm.

"We have to go!"

"Now!"

Jane resisted.

"No! I won't leave him!"

"We don't have time!" Erik shouted.

"He saved you—don't waste it! We need to move!"

He pulled her forcefully.

Jane cried out.

"Tom—!"

---

BOOM!

A massive pillar of fire struck the place where Jack lay.

Flames engulfed everything instantly.

"Tom—!!!" Jane screamed.

Her voice echoed through the chaos.

---

Thor watched everything.

His face hardened.

He stepped forward.

"Brother…" he said quietly.

"No matter what I've done wrong…"

"I'm sorry."

His voice was steady.

"But these people are innocent."

"Killing them won't bring you anything."

Thor raised his head.

"If you must kill someone…"

"Then kill me."

---

The Destroyer's flames dimmed.

It turned.

For a moment—

It seemed like it would stop.

---

Then—

BOOM!

It struck.

Its fist slammed into Thor's body.

Thor was sent flying like a ragdoll, crashing violently into the ground.

---

"No…" Volstagg muttered in disbelief.

"This can't be happening…"

Fandral and Hogun rushed forward.

"Thor!"

"Thor!"

---

Jane collapsed to the ground.

Her entire body trembled.

Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.

"Why… why is this happening…"

Darcy knelt beside her.

"Jane… it's okay…"

But Jane shook her head.

"You don't understand…"

---

Pepper stood nearby.

Her eyes scanned the burning ground.

That guy…

There's no way he died like that.

It has to be another trick.

She looked at Jane, who was crying uncontrollably.

Pepper opened her mouth slightly—

Then closed it again.

She said nothing.

---

Thor lay motionless.

Then—

His body trembled.

A voice echoed in his mind.

"Whoever holds this hammer… if he is worthy… shall possess the power of Thor."

---

Far away—

Something moved.

Through the air—

Cutting through wind and dust—

A hammer.

Mjolnir.

Flying at incredible speed.

Toward its rightful owner.
