Vera, for her part, was incredibly anxious. Now that she had these clues, she was desperate to find Ennis immediately.
Vera said in a very serious tone, "Specter, once you find him, I might not have to trouble you ever again."
The gravity of her tone made Specter realize this was no small matter.
"I understand. I'll do everything I can to find him for you as quickly as possible."
"Thank you!"
Vera's mood didn't improve after she hung up. What happened five years ago had always been a mystery that weighed on her heart.
Now that she was getting closer to the truth, how could she possibly remain calm?
'And the great fire five years ago... could it really have nothing to do with Luna?'
Vera went back inside to tidy up when her phone rang again. She smiled slightly when she saw the familiar number and answered.
"Vera," a polite voice on the other end exclaimed, "you're back in Aethelgard! Why didn't you let me know?"
