However, Vera Warner wasn't the only one being pressured into marriage. Timothy Lawson was now struggling with the same problem.
"Mom, can you please stop playing matchmaker? I know what I'm doing."
"Besides, Luna and I really aren't a good match. She's busy with her new company, so could you please stop bothering her?"
"I understand how you feel," Timothy said, looking pained. He felt utterly helpless in the face of his mother's matchmaking pressure.
"What do you know? If you really knew what you were doing, would you still be single?"
"Luna is such a wonderful girl, and our families know each other through and through. So, this marriage is settled."
"And don't you dare mistreat her. She took such good care of you when you were in the hospital."
