Julius Mamet Charity Foundation.
Seven-year-old Little Ginger blinked her bright eyes, staring intently at the crowd coming and going downstairs.
Christmas is the birthday of her biological father, Julius Mamet. Every year, she comes to Beijing with her current dad and mom to commemorate. Of course, they're not the only ones commemorating this event; many, many people also come, from presidents to ordinary citizens, and even more so, military personnel. It's said that these soldiers were her father's colleagues and comrades during his lifetime.
Watching Mr. Tate, her dad, and mom welcome batch after batch of people, and then see them off, Little Ginger blinked again and turned to walk into the study.
The study is her favorite place because it holds a portrait of her biological mother, Moira Mason.
The portrait is life-sized, with her mother dressed in fiery red leather jacket and pants, her exuberant long hair draped freely as she walked among a forest tinted by autumn.
