"This is outright robbery!" Liu Zhi said with a bitter smile, "In the Vast Sea, this kind of phenomenon is very normal. Some powerful islands demand tributes from the surrounding islands, sometimes even up to ninety-five percent!"
"Ninety-five percent tribute!" Feng Tianyu and others were dumbfounded.
"If they demand ninety-five percent, then what do those islands use to sustain themselves?" Feng Tianyu asked.
Liu Zhi shook his head, "They don't care what you use to sustain yourselves. Moreover, if they suddenly need some Spiritual Medicine to refine a Spirit Pill, the order will come down demanding that the subordinate islands find these Spiritual Medicines by any means within the specified time. If not completed on time, they will be penalized."
