Yusuf Zuck, Demi Garrett, and Kenji May were advancing swiftly. With the talismans from Ancestor Harvey Ruiz and a route map, they quickly reached the entrance to the fourth level and passed through smoothly. However, they didn't linger inside to hunt for treasures; their ultimate goal was the ninth level, so they continued on their way.
Yet, just as they entered the fourth level and reached the entrance to the fifth, suddenly, the earth shook, and the entire altar emitted a booming sound, as if a muffled thunder had exploded. Then the entrance to the fifth level flashed a few times and opened by itself.
Demi Garrett's expression changed, and Yusuf Zuck was also taken aback, inexplicably.
"No good, Harvey Ruiz has entered the ninth level," Demi Garrett said, taking a deep breath. "As long as someone enters the ninth level, all defenses and restrictions of the first eight levels will fail."
