From start to finish, Ling Feng was a bit dazed, drinking a whole glass of draft beer.
And the fat man who invited him didn't say much more, paid for Ling Feng's drink, and went off to chat with others.
At this point, Ling Feng had already mastered the language and could communicate with them fluently. He turned to the available bartender and asked, "Excuse me, I'm from out of town and just arrived today. Why did that person buy me a drink?"
"You may not know, sir, but everyone here in the bar is from the local neighborhood. There's always been a tradition of hospitality, and every visitor has a deep impression of this place!" the bartender explained.
"Alright, it's certainly memorable."
Ling Feng nodded, thinking he was being targeted as soon as he arrived, but realized it was just a misunderstanding!
After a laugh, he said to the bartender, "Even if they're very hospitable, I'm not stingy either. How about this, I'll cover everyone's expenses today."
