The group fell in line as the NPC at the front collected one gold coin for each slime pudding he served. Standing beside him was a female NPC who collected the payment with a smile.
When it was time for them to be served, the NPC passed each of them a cup with no questions asked.
Misho paid with four gold coins. He stared at the cup in his hand as they walked away with hesitation.
"Is this actually edible?"
"Oh! It's so creamy!" Maia cried out with her face melting in bliss.
"Really?"
Misho looked skeptical.
"Wowowowow! It's so good!" Flora's eyes practically glowed with light.
Misho and Pear glanced at each other. They each saw the hesitation in the other's eyes.
"You first." Misho nudged her.
"Okay…"
Pear, as weak willed as she always had, scooped out some of the slime pudding and put it in her mouth.
She closed her eyes and started chewing. She made some weird facial expressions before finally relaxing her face.
