"I see. You're cousins…" Emilia eyed them suspiciously.
"I will correct you." Misho straightened his posture. "We're third cousins."
"Ohhhhh!" Emilia's eyes flashed as she finally understood their relationship.
A smile formed on her face and a look of relief. She rested her elbow on the table.
"This is still an illicit relationship, no?"
"By law and by biology, we're allowed to," Misho answered with confidence. He felt proud of that fact.
"But is your family okay with that?"

"…"
Maia and Misho averted their eyes.
"Ahaha!" Emilia pointed at the both of them with a joyous smile. "How lewd~"
Misho realized Emilia's change of behavior and couldn't help but smile despite her teasing. She leaned back in surprise.
"Are you proud of it?"
"Hahaha. Nothing. I just thought you looked cute. That's all," Misho lightly smiled.
He had forgotten he knew Emilia for a week now as PearChasm. Now that they were in the real world, he didn't need to treat her any differently.
