"This is so humiliating!"
How could this be happening?!
The sound of someone landing on a car has me jumping and then closing my thighs as Ivan's voice growls out a warning to stay away from the house.
"Oh, that was Scott!" Danny cringed as the car alarm blared. "He tried sliding around Alpha. That was stupid!"
"Worry about Vince and AJ. They're tanks." Steven wasn't watching, but winced every time there was a sound.
I wish they'd stop commenting.
All of this was because of me.
I was in heat, like a dog. How was that possible? I was human, and we don't have heats. We do periods and cycles, and those don't do what mine is doing.
"Believe it or not, Vince is pretty calm. Hasn't shifted yet, but he's watching Alpha. Staying out of his circle, though."
"Oh shit, Nate's back up. There he goes... Oof. Ivan laid him out." Taylor was also watching, treating it like an on demand event.
It wasn't.
The worst part? Ivan couldn't get away from me fast enough.
