Thanks to Dau'at retreating and the army too intimidated by my large form, me and my men finally got a moment of respite and proceeded as planned.
But unlike the original plan, I couldn't revert back to my original size because I'd essentially stop being a deterrent.
While the Empire's army isn't attacking, they are still following which complicates things.
To make sure we aren't caught by any surprise attacks, I let the caravan go first while I follow them to guard for any incoming rear attacks.
"Can I say something?"
Out of nowhere, Briana speaks up while sitting on my right shoulder. She's only able to stand here because I lowered my body temperature enough to be bearable for humans.
Weirdly enough, she isn't scare of me nor even the height at the least.
[What is it?]
"Are there more like you?"
[Where is this coming from?]
"I know I defected and can't go back anymore, but if I have to fight demons like you, I feel like I would regret doing so."
