As Rio pushed a cup of tea towards the Demon King, he spoke,
"Freeing Raika was a cunning trick to lead me away from the planet so that you could capture people to blackmail me… but to be honest with you, I seriously do not care one bit about this planet or anyone living on it…"
"Even if you slaughtered the entire planet, I might not feel sad at all… at most it will only give me a reason… a reason to slaughter the demon race without feeling bad for them…"
The Demon King's eyes widened a bit in surprise after hearing those words.
"T-that couldn't be… from what I have observed through the strings of destiny for so long. You are quite generous to those close to you…"
"Also, you have worked a lot for your people in the human empire; why would you abandon them so easily…"
Rio leaned against the back of the chair after hearing those words, looked at the star-filled cosmos and replied calmly,
"That's just me trying to fit in with the others."
