Hearing those words, a faint smile appeared on Rio's face.
"You planned… quite well…"
Rio wasn't impressed just by the dagger or the scheme of saving Fade to create new variables in the strings of destinies; he was more impressed by how the Demon King had used all these variables in battle.
'I was originally thinking it would take some kind of underhanded trick to defeat me… but it turns out, the battle was concluded through such righteous and clear-cut cunning methods…'
'It's impressive…'
The Demon King knew that even if he had the dagger that could break the 'World Anchors' of a person by stripping them of their luck through breaking the strings of destiny attached to their body, he still wouldn't have been able to land a hit on Rio easily.
Rio had the crown of Endless Realms, which could be used to easily teleport in or out of the battlefield; suppressing it with various powerful abilities and weakening its powers was extremely important.
