Midnight had come. As usual, I was in my room. The window was open. A dark red smoke entered through the gap.
In the blink of an eye, the dark red smoke appeared in front of me. It transformed into the Zero Puppet.
"Master," the puppet greeted me.
I nodded to him and began to listen to his intel report. I wanted to know what was happening with Magic Lord Clint and the others.
A few minutes later, the Zero Puppet finished briefing me on everything.
I understood it all. Magic Lord Clint made use of my absence to cause damage here. His goal was to disrupt the business and damage my reputation.
If I were to go and seek trouble with him now, then his final goal would be achieved. He could create another problem with that.
A hint of unwillingness appeared in my heart. I didn't want to let him go like that. He had attacked my members. They were hurt.
"Maybe he expected this already. That's why he was provoking me," I said to myself.
