Nova City
I returned to the hotel after some exploration. I didn't find anything. The system didn't find any signs of Magic Lords or Forbidden Wizards either.
Lying on the bed, I looked at the ceiling fan. My mind was on something else. Nova City appeared to be fine on the surface.
But I didn't know why I thought it was far from simple. There were no Magic Lords or Forbidden Wizards in the city.
I'm sure the families here might have a Magic Lord as a backer or ancestor. So, they must have left the city before their arrival.
I wondered what the reason could be. I believed things would add up when the others returned from the mission.
Knock!
Then I heard the sound of knocking at the door. Hearing that, my thoughts were disturbed. I got out of bed and left my room first.
I didn't expect the members to return this early. After reaching the door, I opened it. I saw the hotel staff.
Fortunately, I was yet to remove my mask.
