"Hey, I've got a story to tell you. My name is Hermes, also known as Mercury to some. I watched over human travelers, thieves, merchants, and orators as the Divine Messenger and intelligence gathering for my brother in arms, Zeus. This story might start with my brother, but it truly begins when I help a boy who would one day stand above everyone."
"Let us start at the very beginning. In a higher plane of existence, in a universe much more massive than Earth's own, the Kingdom of Adam exists. The ruler of the Kingdom is known as the God of Humans. His name was Adam."
"A long time ago, he found a pocket dimension crystal. This crystal held Earth's universe inside it, but the crystal blocked any Immortal or higher being from entering. Adam was a natural-born World God; thus, he could not enter the crystal himself. Luckily, he was born with the innate ability to spawn miniature versions of himself. The amount of energy provided determined the miniature's version power level. Eventually, he created several Adams about 2 meters tall at the Avatar Establishment level, a level below Immortality."
"He then sent his Mini-Adams into Earth's Universe to explore, with each Adam claiming a planet to call their own. The Mini-Adam number 42 was found on today's Earth 1.9 million years BC. At that time, Homo-Erectus populated the world in the mortal realm with not much intelligence or power."
"Some of these early humans adapted to the rich energy-filled world and entered the first stage of cultivation known as Tempered Body. The leader of the Homo-Erectus was a female named Eve. She was the only intelligent being on the planet to reach the Core Building Stage. When Adam 42 first arrived, he just watched Eve from afar. Over time, it grew into a one-sided infatuation."
"One day, a Titanoboa attacked Eve's tribe. The snake creature was in the Beast Core stage, equivalent to Eve's Core building stage. The Titanoboa slaughtered the entire clan and wounded Eve in the chest. Before the snake finished Eve, Adam 42 stepped in and slew the beast by chopping off its head. Adam 42 ran over to Eve, pondering how to save this woman. Adam 42 reached into his chest and gave Eve his flesh. The flesh healed her chest wound and transformed her into what is known as a Homo-sapiens, a being more similar to Adam's body makeup.
Adam 42 trained Eve and lived together on Earth. They had many children, and upon reaching Construct Evolution State, Adam and Eve entered the Severing Stage and ascended to the higher realm upon becoming Immortal."
"In Adam's Kingdom, the Mini-Adams returned with husbands, wives, and beasts. With his legion of Adams and humans, the Original Adam formed the Kingdom of Adam in which he ruled."
"Let us fast forward 1.89 million years...."
"It was the year 1005 BC on Earth, and a faint blue hue in the sky dwindled and then disappeared. The universe the Earth was in had all of its energy absorbed from it. In the Kingdom of Adam, Adam began consuming all the energy from the pocket-dimension crystal to break into the Divine Lord Stage. This act angered many Immortals and Gods in the Kingdom of Adam. The Immortals and Gods led by Zeus rebelled against Adam."
"You know, I think it would be better if you watched this next part." With a wave of Hermes' hand serval, several Artificial Intelligence sprites flew over and combined to form a holographic picture. "Now observe as the man I respected most defies his God."
The words "In 2114" appeared, and then a man known as Zeus appeared in the hologram. Followed by a legion of immortals and gods, Zeus challenged Adam, the god of humanity, to take the pocket-dimension crystal that held the universe of Earth.
"Adam!!! Die by my hand!"
"Little Zeus. You are not qualified to die by my hand."
A smaller version of Adam flies up next to the original Adam. His black metallic wings were flapping.
"I, Adam 2, shall destroy you, Baal Shaman, oh Thunder God of the name Zeus."
Adam 2 flies toward Zeus. Zeus began gathering lightning into a spear-shaped form. The lightning spear shattered after being thrown at the dark angel. The energy was dispersed when it got near Adam 2. The angel's feathers formed into blades. Each wing flapped forward, piercing Zeus' chest.
Zeus stared into Adam's 2 eyes and smiled. He grabbed both wings and called down lightning bolts. "Lighting, heed my call and strike down this demon made from his master."
Lightning trembles across the sky, and one powerful bolt drops down. The lightning strike smashed into both Zeus and Adam 2. The light blinds all around and leaves both gods burned from head to toe. As Zeus falls, he looks at the Universe Crystal.
"Today's defiance needs to matter. My sacrifice must change things for us to have a future." He activates his lightning movement technique and flies into the dimension crystal.
The laws governing the universe crystal don't allow immortals or gods to enter. If they do, the universe will destroy them.
"I just want to see the Earth one more time," Zeus says to the universe as it slowly starts to disintegrate him. He flies through the universe until he reaches the solar system containing Earth. At this point, his arms and legs were long gone. He looked at the planet Jupiter and smiled.
When he smiled, Zeus released his remaining powers to cover the entire solar system, blocking any energy from leaving the system. A yellow-hued essence formed an aura that encircled all the planets around the sun. Zeus closed his eyes and plummeted towards Earth.
Opening his eyes one last time, he saw the beautiful blue and green planet. A tear appeared and disappeared as soon as it appeared. Slowly, Zeus' face began to vanish. Once Zeus broke through the atmosphere, his body scattered, becoming several meteors showering Earth. The largest meteorite chunk crashed into what is now Europe. The force from Zeus' fall and death destroyed all of Europe.
The mortals of Earth perceived this act as a nuclear attack on Europe. Europe's destruction caused fear and panic among the remaining world powers. The remaining world powers launched all of their arsenals, starting WWIII and destroying most of humanity. The human population dwindled to fewer than 100,000 worldwide.
The hologram faded, and Hermes then said, "Earth had no idea that it was in for a rebirth. A boy I found in a refrigerator would survive horrible tragedies and change the world. This is his story..."
