Third Lu jumped down from the carriage, "Alright, I'll go ask around again."
He walked briskly and quickly ran to the cloth shop next to the Chen Family grocery store.
The Boss Lady was momentarily startled when she saw him, recognizing him as the brother who had stood next to her while watching the event earlier, and quickly smiled, "Oh, it's you, little brother. What kind of fabric are you looking to buy?"
Third Lu shook his head, leaned in close to the edge of the counter, and said mysteriously, "No, I just want to ask you about something."
"What is it?" The Boss Lady seemed uninterested. When watching the commotion earlier, she didn't mind gossiping and sharing news with fellows. Now there was no excitement to watch, and she was back in the shop, and besides business, she didn't want to talk about anything else.
