In the first twenty days, Lex had singlehanded found more guests and workers than all of the rest of the Inn combined, including Anita's countless undead. It wasn't because the others were slacking off, but because of how unusual his methods were.
During this time, the legend of the devil had taken on a life of its own, and for more reason than one. Lex had severely underestimated the effects of his actions against Chicken Wings. Publicly fighting a Celestial Apex, while being a Heaven Immortal himself, attracted a whole lot of attention on its own. In fact, that is how Lex also learned that the unofficial ranking of Celestial Apex ranked themselves was not based on their individual strength, or fighting record, but based on the bounty on their heads.
