Chapter 1668 - Chapter 1668. Leaving.

Yasenia gathered everyone and smiled. "Time to leave."

They had delayed their stay in this place for long enough. She was honestly curious about the other Forbidden Zones, but after her experience, Yasenia decided to not deal with them. She decided to change slightly, but she had not become a saint who went cleaning up the mess of ancient civilizations.

Tatyana asked. "Are you sure? There might be nice treasures like the ones we got in the Death Dunes Empire."

Yasenia's heart almost tilted for a moment at the mention of treasures. Still, she decided to be firm this time. "We all digested our gains. Even if we participate, we will honestly not receive much."

Tatyana chuckled. "Up to you, love. What is the plan, then?"

"The first thing is returning to Angel's world for a moment. I want to leave a few scattered treasures with my aura there. It is the world our girls will most likely pass through when coming to this Heavenly Layer."

Angel's world was quite close to the city that allowed one to move between layers. So, Yasenia chose to leave a few treasures with her aura pressing the surroundings. Only her babies would be able to bear such pressure… "Even if someone else is able to get them, I guess we can call them destined to do so."

Kali nodded. "If someone can bear Yasenia's pressure and get the treasures, I admit they are qualified to get the opportunity."

So, Yasenia flew skyward, and a second later, blue light covered the skies. The girls couldn't help but exclaim as the giant dragon manifested in the sky. The dragon was undoubtedly bigger than before. And it was not by a small amount.

Yasenia also looked at herself, flapping her gigantic wings and circling above the city a few times. "I've grown quite a bit."

After circling the sky, Yasenia landed outside the city and caused a massive earthquake due to her weight. Asterion spoke with bright golden eyes. "Wow!"

Andrea patted his head with a laugh. "Let's go."

The girls and maids flashed and landed on Yasenia's head, right between her golden horns. Her head was, quite literally, larger than some villages, so they could stand there easily.

"Alright, is everyone ready?"

Her ethereal and mystical voice reached them, and she received affirming sounds. Then, with a powerful flap of her wings and a jump from her legs, Yasenia soared skyward.

Meanwhile, the entire city had fallen into absolute chaos, some people screaming that it was the end of the world and other nonsense. As for the powerhouses nearby, none of them made a single peep so that the dragon that appeared out of nowhere would not move her gaze over.

Thankfully, that god of disaster left without causing much trouble.

"City Lord! It was the Dravory Clan who left on the giant dragon!"

The City Lord almost cried with relief and happiness. 'Finally! Those gods of plague are gone! I am free!'

During the few decades they had lived in the city, the City Lord had been walking on eggshells. The times he wanted to just go into seclusion and escape his responsibilities were far too many. Thankfully, though, the other side only acted if provoked. 'That stupid son of mine had to get involved with them just a few years before they left… Sigh.'

He mourned his loss, but he dared not be angry.

Meanwhile, somewhat far from the city, Dune turned her head and looked upward. Her sharp gaze caught the gigantic dragon soaring up into the Heavens, and her lips arched minutely. 'Good luck in your journey, Yasenia.'

Yasenia soared through the clouds, breaking through, and reached the edge of the world. With no obstacles whatsoever, Yasenia broke through the Heavenly Domain and, once more, entered the void.

Once outside, Yasenia felt the Cosmic Energy around her and took a deep breath. "...Comfortable. How is my precious Aster? Are you doing well, baby?"

"Yeah!" Aster answered naturally, breathing in and out the Cosmic Energy without any problem whatsoever. Cosmic energy was like a diluted version of Celestial Energy, so Aster had no problem digesting it.

The energy was usually either harmful or useless to most cultivators, but it seemed that Yasenia's bloodline was bound to be different. Andrea looked at Asterion with a smile.

"Alright, since Asterion is okay with it, we can travel like this."

She had the flying ship, and it was certainly fast. Nevertheless, the ship was not faster than Yasenia going at full speed in a straight line in the void. That ship was great to move as a group within a world, but in the void, it was somewhat slow.

So, Yasenia focused and closed her eyes. Her wings flapped slowly at first. With their movement, Yasenia moved forward and followed the direction toward Angel's world.

At first, she was not too fast. This changed quickly. Her body was enveloped in energy, allowing her to defy laws and accelerate faster and faster.

In just a few moments, Yasenia achieved and surpassed Light Speed. Her eyes focused on the distance, and as she moved, the world around her rippled like water. Seeing from outside, it looked as if Yasenia was submerging herself in the cosmos. Yet, instead of slowing down, the enormous dragon accelerated.

With a swift use of Pegasus Gallop to pick up pace, Yasenia burst forward, causing the fabric of space around her to churn like an ocean's surface during a storm.

Tatyana glanced around and praised. "Much smoother than when you first arrived at this layer. Great job, love."

Speed was not that important to her. What Tatyana felt proud of was Yasenia's ability to merge with the surroundings and evade many of the normal physical laws.

Yasenia didn't answer, feeling intoxicated with the sensation of moving through the void. Her lips arched, and her body felt as if she were soaking in a comfortable hot spring. Her heartbeat was powerful yet calm, and her scales felt the cosmic energy caress them.

"Ha…"

A comfortable sigh escaped her as she continued flying forward. Asterion looked down and smiled. "Mommy looks so comfortable."

Andrea patted his head. "She does."

The girls were sitting down with the maids, and everyone's hands were gently caressing the smooth scales below them. They could all feel how free and happy Yasenia felt when flying in the cosmos.

Kali muttered, her voice not reaching Yasenia. "Sometimes… I really wonder about what Yasenia could've been."

It was a conversation the girls had often. They didn't really get tired of speculating and speaking about their lover.

While talking together about this and that, Yasenia arrived near Angel's words, but she didn't stop. Instead, she channeled her [Dragon Strength] into some of her scales, and then she shook her body and let them fall like comets together with suitable weapons for each of the girls.

The weapons were all One Star Supreme Ranked Treasures. Nothing too crazy, but nothing too weak.

Meanwhile, the people in that world noticed several shooting stars, and some prayed for good luck.

Tatyana chuckled. "You really left it entirely up to chance."

Yasenia smiled faintly, feeling free and unconcerned. "It is a lucky encounter. If they don't even use luck to find them, where is the fun in it?"

Truth be told, Yasenia trusted her girls tremendously. These treasures were a boost that, if they found them, would be perfect. If they didn't, she was not concerned, and they would become another person's lucky encounter.

In a way, it was a way to accumulate good Karma.

Angel spoke here, her eyes curious. "I always thought about this, but… What if those treasures you leave behind cause chaos and war. Do you still get Good Karma?"

Mirrory spoke. "The Good Karma comes from the intent of the action itself. Yasenia's intent when releasing those treasures was not to damage anyone, but to give people a lucky encounter. If cultivators fight for them later, that's their problem. Still, if Yasenia had done the exact same actions but with evil intent, then she would've accumulated bad Karma."

Angel blinked. "Who judges if your actions are good or bad?"

Mirrory answered with a smile. "Your heart."

Angel hummed, and together with the others, became thoughtful about her words.

Yasenia spoke. "We will arrive at the Heaven Converging City in just a few more months. You can all meditate and relax. Feixue, love, how are you feeling?"

Feixue, the only mortal in their group, answered with a smile. "I am doing fine, Master."

Yasenia nodded and asked. "Feixue, dear. Do you want to go on an adventure on your own, or do you want to continue following Master? I will respect whatever choice you make."

Those words made Feixue thoughtful. Being by Yasenia's side was peaceful and also gave her plenty of opportunities. Separating, on the other hand, would allow her to develop on her own.

'However, my talent is my limiting factor. Once I separate from Master, I feel that I won't be able to reunite for a long, long time.'

Seeing that she was deep in thought, Yasenia didn't rush her. Carrying Luan Feixue around was not a burden for Yasenia. If their massive group could not even protect one mortal from danger, Yasenia would deem herself useless.

Therefore, unless Luan Feixue explicitly told her she wanted to live and have her own life, Yasenia would carry her around, present her opportunities, and try her very best to supplement her cultivation.

This was not much different from growing a greenhouse flower. Nevertheless, if left alone, Yasenia felt that Feixue had obvious limits as a wildflower.

'Not everyone's destiny is to defy Heaven and become absolute prodigies.'

This was something Yasenia kept in mind when carrying Feixue around. The wildflower Feixue would never become stronger than the greenhouse Feixue Yasenia could raise.

Only a very, very exceptional encounter and lucky inheritance or opportunity could reverse Feixue's limits. 'In her case, I think I am that opportunity.'

It was a bit selfish to think that way, but she felt she was not wrong. Meeting her was probably Luan Feixue's biggest lucky encounter in her life. Therefore, she would not let go of Feixue's hand unless she asked her.

After thinking for a while, Luan Feixue smiled and spoke softly. "I want… to continue traveling with Master. Can I, Master?"

Yasenia smiled gently and answered, her tone soft and pampering. "Of course you can, love. Master will carry you around until you are tired of following me."

Feixue nodded happily, hand gently tracing the scale below her. 'I am really lucky to have met Master.'

Yasenia might not have been the most present Master, but Feixue felt it was not strange. 'If someone like Master gave their whole attention to someone, that would be an extravagant luxury. Master is someone who needs to soar freely and look at the sky.'

Having spent decades with Yasenia, Feixue had long understood that Yasenia's existence was bound to become massive. She was nothing but a little twinkling star hiding behind the radiance of her Sun-like light.
