Chapter 1670 - Chapter 1670. Fight With The Dragon Hunter.

Tatyana, Angel, Mirrory, Kali, Valeria, and Soluna rushed to meet the Level Nine Transcendence Realm Cultivator. The Level Nine Cultivator snorted, deploying a Level 7 Intent Domain.

"[Dragon Glass Intent Domain]."

The space around the cultivator was instantly swallowed in a world of glass. Seeing that, the girls deployed their own Intent Domains to push back and defend against its assault. A domain-type Intent Domain was dangerous when it took over.

Even when the girls only had Level 5 Intent Domains, their quality was far above that of the Level Nine Cultivator's Intent Domain. So, while they were pressured, they could avoid being swallowed.

Moreover, Yasenia's Celestial Intent Domain, which was of the highest quality, also chipped away at her Dragon Glass Intent Domain.

Tatyana glanced around and spoke. "I've seen this one before. This Intent Domain is one that follows the principles of weakening. Dragon Glass is not referring to a strong type of glass, but the opposite. The principle is making dragons akin to glass, weak and brittle. This middle-aged woman is a debuffer with weakening attacks. Be careful."

"Knowing about it won't save you."

While Tatyana was explaining, the woman had appeared in front of Tatyana and struck her palm forward. "[Glass Break]."

BANG!

The space around them seemed to shatter for a moment, and Tatyana was blasted backward from the impact. The middle-aged woman frowned. "How did you avoid taking damage?"

Tatyana, flipping in midair, stabilized herself and raised the corner of her mouth. "Not bad. This is what a true Level Nine Transcendence powerhouse should be like. Still… You are not powerful enough. [Abyssal Strike]."

A sword made entirely of Death Energy manifested in Tatyana's hand, and she slashed forward at blurring speed. In a fraction of a second, the glass-like world was swallowed by thousands of black crescents.

The Dragon Hunter was no pushover, though. With a single thought, her Intent Domain moved, and every single black crescent shattered. The energy, as if it were fragile glass falling to the ground, exploded into pieces and disappeared.

Then, the woman turned around. "[Glass Break]."

Angel, who had appeared behind her at some point, looked at her with cold, green eyes, her red-colored long hair fluttering behind her. "[Reflect]."

It was a simplified skill of Mirrory's skill set. The first step toward dominating the [Divine Truth Martial Art].

CRASH!

The palm struck the shield, but Angel minutely adjusted it to allow some of the strength to slip to the sides. The clash was still overwhelmingly in the Dragon Hunter's favor.

Angel's arm bones broke, her body flying backward. However, it was not for nothing. The Dragon Hunter received reflected damage equal to what Angel blocked. Her arm's skin split open, blood pouring out.

A look of faint surprise appeared in the Dragon Hunter's eyes. "You are the most dangerous. I should kill you first."

She stepped forward, and space before the woman shattered. No, it wasn't space. It was "distance."

In a single step, the woman's body seemed to stretch for a moment before she appeared before Angel, her palm falling down toward Angel's head. Angel looked at that palm with an indifferent look.

"That was not a bad attempt. Look closely. [Divine Truth: Reflect]."

Mirrory appeared before Angel and lightly met the woman's palm strike with her own. The sound of the palms colliding was that of a high-five. A simple clap. Still, the effects were far from as lighthearted as that kind of gesture.

BOOM!

The Dragon Hunter's arm exploded, leaving only bone, and her figure was thrown back due to the recoil. This time, her eyes trembled with shock. 'W-What happened?'

While she was shocked, Valeria approached her and gently tapped her with her stave. The second it did, Valeria spoke softly. "[Endless Life Bloom]."

Usually, a healing technique. This time, Valeria manipulated it with incredible proficiency so that it would only target the heart. Just the heart.

Boundless healing energies rushed into the woman's heart, making her face flush, and a second later, the heart burst from overflowing vitality.

"COUGH!"

The woman spat a mouthful of blood, and she quickly put distance between them, focusing on recovering her body. At their level, bursting the heart without enough Soul Damage was far from a killing move.

Even then, the damage was not small. The time it took to reform the heart was enough for the girls to surround and begin a rapid barrage of attacks from all directions. The Dragon Hunter began using palm strikes to block and shatter everything, but the ease with which she moved at first was nowhere to be seen.

Mirrory's reflect and Valeria's attack had clearly hurt her.

Soluna raised her eyes, her Moon and Sun pupils glowing. "Annihilate."

Celestial Energy churned violently around the Spirit, converging into a monstrously large spear of annihilation energies. A chill rushed up the woman's spine. 'Danger!'

While she manifested defensive measures, Tatyana appeared behind that spear and grinned. "Let's give it a push, shall we? [Death Meteor]."

It was a Fire, Earth, and Death mixed technique she didn't use because she had outgrown it. However, this time, the effects were brutal.

The aim of the massive meteor she manifested was not the Dragon Hunter but the butt of the Celestial Spear Soluna manifested.

BANG!

Like a hammer striking a nail, the already fast spear appeared to compress for a second before bursting forward with several times more strength. The minute adjustments and sublime energy control needed for that feat were breathtaking.

The spear soared forward and struck the defensive layers created by the Dragon Hunter with enough strength to tear them apart.

An expression of disbelief appeared on the Dragon Hunter's face. 'Did she just use a skill to push another skill without causing their elements to conflict and explode together? I can't dodge…'

BOOM!

Her chest was struck by the spear, and her body flew backward from the explosive sound. The Celestial Energy tore through her defenses, dealing incredible damage to her soul.

The woman was not stupid. She turned to look at the rest of her people, and her face crumpled. One of the Seventh Realm Transcendence Cultivators had died at some point. 'I could continue to fight and use more strength, but this group is clearly abnormal.'

Her gaze moved toward Yasenia one last time with lingering regret, and she shouted. "Retreat!"

The woman used her movement technique to arrive at the other battlefield and exploded her energy. Tatyana spoke aloud. "Let them leave!"

The maids were prepared to use secret techniques to block the energy spreading and catch a few more, but they quickly stopped and focused on defense.

The female Dragon Hunter spoke with a snort. "We might see each other again."

Then, she disappeared into the void together with the rest. Angel frowned and looked at Tatyana. "Why did you let her go?"

Tatyana approached and ruffled her hair. "Silly girl, do you think it is easy to kill a Level Nine Transcendence Realm cultivator. If we at least had similar-level Intent Domains, I wouldn't have let her go. However, you can't underestimate the trump cards of someone at her level."

Angel blinked and nodded, thoughtful. Tatyana looked at the rest of the girls and spoke. "Sometimes, you must know when to leave your cornered prey. Even rabbits bite when cornered, not to mention someone of her caliber. When we faced her, she was testing the waters. Once she made sure that she would lose more than she could gain, she retreated. Learn from her as well."

No matter how much Tatyana disliked or hated her, she didn't have the strength to force a Level Nine Transcendence Realm Cultivator to stay. If she used some dangerous skills, perhaps. But both sides were far from being in an irredemiable blood feud. So, stopping the fight was the best option this time around.

As for the last sentence the Dragon Hunter left behind, Tatyana was not too worried. It was petty pride from being repelled even with her absolute Cultivation advantage.

Yasenia flew over and approached, looking at the two dead Dragon Hunters. "Won't they retaliate because of them?"

Tatyana shook her head. "What would you do if your maids encountered a Level Two Transcendence group that pushed them back and even managed to heavily injure a few of them?"

After thinking for a few moments, Yasenia answered. "Be very thoughtful of them and try not to provoke them. If they killed any, though, I would make it my mission to erase them from this cosmos."

A laugh escaped Tatyana as she landed on Yasenia's dragon head. "For them, their death is like a heavy injury from your perspective. It is angering, but not something you want to escalate if possible."

Yasenia hummed, accepting her explanation. Tatyana still clarified. "If you have the strength to keep them behind and kill, then killing is best. If you are not that sure… evaluate and see if you can each go your way."

Tatyana realized that she needed to teach Yasenia some restraint. She had been going on quite a refreshing rampage during her journey to find her dears, but that didn't work here. Tatyana knew that Yasenia understood that, so she used that Dragon Human to give her the final little hint and advice for her to internalize the thought.

The rest of the girls also listened closely.

After that small conflict, Yasenia gathered everyone and moved toward one of the nearby worlds with the strongest auras. As she did, Yasenia's sharp senses picked up something familiar.

"Hm…?"

It had already been a few months since the encounter with the Dragon Hunters, so Yasenia was not worried that it was them. Instead, she focused her senses and spread her Spiritual Sense in that direction.

Cecile asked softly. "Did you detect something?"

Yasenia blinked her golden eyes and tilted her body, using her wings to shift her direction. Her lips arched faintly. "I did."

As she flew forward, four beams of light moved in Yasenia's direction. No one reacted since Yasenia was moving straight at them with no guard whatsoever.

Once they moved, the girls saw four new faces they didn't know about.

"Young Miss, we've completed the training."

The four women in maid outfits bowed with perfect manners and then lifted their smiling faces to look at the giant dragon in front of them. Yasenia laughed gently. "Star Forge, Little Zhe, Mo Yun, Cai Xue… Welcome back."

The four of them smiled brightly, and Yasenia spoke to her lovers. "These are the four friends I spoke to you about that I encountered in the Blue Pearl World."

The girls' eyes flashed with realization, and they all smiled at them. Kali nodded. "Thank you for taking care of Yasenia during her stay in the Blue Pearl World."

"Thank you, Madams. We will be in your care."

The four maids glanced at the five outstanding women and exclaimed softly in their heads. 'Young Miss's wives are truly beautiful.'
