*Kryzen*
I stood in the quiet courtyard, the stones still wet from the morning mist as Roy approached. His blue eyes held a kind of warmth that always seemed to put people at ease. "Roy," I started, clasping his hand firmly, "thank you for holding the fort while we're away."
"Of course, Kryzen," he replied, his voice steady and sincere. "I'm happy to help. I just hope the journey brings good health back to Briella." He gave me a pat on the shoulder, his gaze lingering with concern.
"Thank you," I said, my throat tight with gratitude. "I hope so too. I know we’ve gone over everything in our conversations, but there are notes in my office, and you have help. Zara is here to watch over Emberly, and Drius knows most of the inner workings. Some of the elders are easily relied on as well."
