Chapter 12 - Becoming Perchta

Kido's thoughts trailed as he ate on his lunch, as to what he would become in this world.

He had powers, real powers, that he would dream of everytime he would watch anime and read manga. Powers, that he would use to become someone new, to become someone greater. So he could escape from realities cruel clutches, societies crushing expectations, his own parents, his own depressing life. He could change bodies, so he couldn't use his obesity in order to escape from reality, like he did in his past life.

Even in this world, he was never really himself.

{Then why don't you just become Perchta, then?} interrupted Dämon, disrupting Kido's train of thought.

responded Kido, with a mix of irritation and delight, because Dämon had interrupted but also that he is pretty caring for a guy who fucked up his life.

{Sure, why not its not like anything is stopping you} said Dämon, as it was obvious.

replied Kido, after sometime of thought about this change.

Kido stood up and left the staff room, after he finished his lunch, to the classroom for next period.

Kido waked back to his apartment after a long day of teaching biology to his students, with a smile on his face. But behind this smile was a sinister intention, of killing the most important politician in the hero community, The President of the Public Safety Commission, Ohta Rin, the most controversial person in the whole of Japan.

The next day Kido took paid holiday leave, for 2 months.

Over the 1 month and a half Kido conducted research on his target, the time she would enter and leave the Public Safety Commission building. He looked up the schematics of buildings, as expected it did not show the floor, on which the President's office lied.

After, Kido collected the necessary investigation for the operation to work, by contacted the information networks in the underworld of Japan. He commissioned an artisan to make his own Perchta themed costume and sword, based off his childhood memories.

Kido walked into the PSC building, with costume with a villainess smile, he ran at the two guards with his blood-red sword, at the entrance of the building and slit they throats and the stomach. The guards trying to scream because of the pain, but they couldn't as they died slowly in their own pool of blood. As Kido's layer of slime, mimicked their dying faces into his blood red torso.

Before running to the Second Floor and leaving a trail of blood and intestines all over, going from floor to floor leaving nobody alive, and etching their last moments into his torso.

Kido finally reached the floor in which the floor where the President's office lied, a long stretch of corridor remained between Kido and his target. Kido start to stroll towards the office, before a explosion resounded across the floor as a man broke through the reinforced walls.

*BOOM*

As the dust settled, their stood a man with huge red wings connecting to his back.

"Stop right there" said the man, with a carefree attitude but still keep his guard up, as he saw the aftermath of the man as he transverse the floor of the PSC building.

"Who the fuck are you?" asked Kido to the man with red wings
