"Useless thing..."
Picked up another: "Not the right cure either."
Su Mo noticed a flower in the box.
Normally, when flowers are picked, they should wither.
But this flower was peculiarly vibrant.
The petals seemed to have been removed, with sap oozing out at the broken parts, mixed with a strange fragrance.
Su Mo took out the flower, observed it briefly, and suddenly the Elder Du's gaze came over:
"What is this?"
"A flower."
"...Nonsense."
Elder Du frowned: "I, an old man, have spent my life with flowers and plants, yet why have I never seen such a flower?"
He held it in his hand and casually plucked a petal to his mouth.
"Aren't you afraid it's poisonous?"
Su Mo asked.
Elder Du gave Su Mo a sidelong glance, too lazy to respond, and after eating the petal, he slightly frowned:
"This petal..."
Just after saying three words, his face changed:
"Not good, it really is poisonous!!"
As soon as he finished, the old man flipped over and fell.
