Ren wasn't particularly worried about crossing the bog.
If the ground gave way beneath him, he could simply turn into a bat and fly to the other side.
The dark elves, meanwhile, knew the terrain well. With their night vision and familiarity with the marsh, they navigated the dangerous path with practiced ease. Within a minute, they had cleared the mist and emerged from the bog, where Ren was already waiting for them on the other side.
He didn't have time to deal with the dangers lurking in the bog, and any curiosity he had quickly vanished beneath the urgency to cross the marsh as fast as possible. For most players, it would have been a dangerous obstacle, but for Ren—who could simply bypass the bog altogether—it was no more difficult than walking across dry, solid ground.
After another ten minutes of travel through the darkened forest, they finally reached the dark elves' settlement.
