"What's all the commotion about?"
The voice came from behind Ren.
Before anyone could answer, the curtains serving as the only divider between the Guest Room and the outside were pushed aside.
Elena stepped out.
She looked half-asleep, one hand covering a yawn as she blinked at the group gathered outside.
Her silver-blond hair was slightly disheveled from sleep, falling loosely around her shoulders. She was dressed in delicate lavender sleepwear made from shimmering silk, the fabric catching the morning light whenever she moved. The intricate lace detailing around the edges gave the otherwise simple garment an elegant touch.
She looked nothing like the intimidating Princess who could command an entire room with a single glance.
She looked like someone who had just been dragged out of bed because people were making too much noise.
Then she lifted her eyes.
The effect was immediate.
Josh stopped breathing.
Kylie stopped complaining.
Zack stopped glaring at Ren.
