Defiance came closer to him and she placed one of her arms around his shoulder like she was hugging him but only to whisper to him.
"No, thank you"
"You should think about it. Do you know how many girls would kill to get the offer I am giving to you?" Conrad asked her.
"I bet it's a lot but they didn't grow up like I did" Defiance told him.
"How did you grow up?" Conrad was confused.
She was an omega, how different could her upbringing be from the rest of her kind?
"In my other life, Conrad, I grew up with a Dad who would die for my mother. And a mother who went to great lengths to save the love of her life. An uncle who would give his life for me. I was basically raised surrounded by true love every minute of everyday. Do you really think I would settle for something less than perfect, Conrad?.
