"So she… ran away?"
Nux tilted his head, and Sharnoth—
She frowned in confusion—
"Why would she run away?
What could possibly scare her?"
At those words, Nux grinned.
"Indeed, indeed, there's nothing here that would scare her away. She is the safest when she's here."
He nodded. Sharnoth was still confused, not understanding why Nux was saying what he was saying, but in the end, she nodded back, agreeing with his words.
In here, Nux was at his strongest, and the fact that not anyone could just barge in here without Nux's permission indeed made this the safest place for her.
"Anyways, so she left because the fight was over?"
Nux asked, curious. Sharnoth nodded again.
"She came out earlier than usual because she wanted to take her revenge, but since you said she should now wait for a few days before continuing, she decided it would be better to return later and let me have control."
"So she left the 'boring' part to you, eh? Again."
Nux laughed.
Sharnoth shook her head.
