They had been planning, they had been making sure that every single thing remained a secret, and that they would make the first move before anyone could realize. Lady Seraphielle was the one who was supposed to contact the other Infinities, not the other way around.
Lord Light's mind had already started spinning.
Why do they wish to talk?

He couldn't help but think more and more strongly about that last possibility, because if the other Infinities knew and had been preparing proper defense, then the element of surprise they had been hoping to get would be ruined and they…
